It does play Switch games though. And I think they want to avoid repeating that whole Wii U naming fiasco.

When I saw it I thought the same thing, unless there's a way it does the Switch part, but then you'd need separate joy cons

I'm looking forward to it.  I only use my Switch in handheld mode and not

nearly as often as I use my 3DS since the Switch is too big to carry around.
