The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 ... they told you up front what MOm was doing last episode. ...why is Don acting like this is the first time he found out?

mochi Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Rei: some of them are gonna die even if we take them  Me: probably Don
The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 ... see this is one downside to this anime adaptation. No one has an inner monologue, so they shout everything out loudi n a place where Mom would easily hear them.
AnimationFan14 Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I mean I understand what Don is saying but did you have to Mike Tyson the fuck out of everyone first 2
The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 "We're siblings right" was placed on top of one mouth flap.

ben0119 Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Why didn't Mom just destroy those toys? Why keep them around?
The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 That all said, Ron's acting more like how I real kid would react when hearing all this.

ben0119 Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 THAT CAMERA AGAIN. AND RAY'S REACTION JUST PROVED IT'S NOT JUST A DIRECTING TECHNIQUE. SOMEONE IS THERE. 3

Disney tries to Argue the Same of Mother Gothel from Tangled  Bottom line is their both sadistic women holding abducted kids hostage for sinister purposes while pretending to be loving mothers so any "sentimental feelings" either of them have are moot since they have no real feelings for anyone but themselves at the end of the day 1

The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Giving Mom false information that sounds believable. Really good plan! 3
The1gairon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Ray's 12th birthday. Â RAY KNOWS HE'S NEXT TO GO. 1 1
AnimationFan14 Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Damn these cliffhangers but that's a brilliant way to end a episode   3

OwlChemist81 Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Somehow, the Toonami crew has actually made Conny's disappearance in the first episode even more poignant. In Japan, after the first episode, she was just gone. But thanks to the bumpers, her ghost has haunted us all the way through Episode 6 in which Don and Gilda have discovered that she truly is GONE. I'm assuming we'll probably get new bumps next week, but somehow the fact that this has persisted is remarkable! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/the-promised-neverland/episode-6/.143466 Grade: "A". That book which said "promise" makes me feel like I'm beginning to understand where the title of this show comes from! 1
