last night, I sliced open 4 fingers while trying to take the lid off the sour cream.

Had sharp edges I wasn't aware of, and managed to slice a capillary. Bled for a few hours.

I had just opened a tub of sour cream earlier when I used in something else. Opened it the same way as always, but this bitch had jagged plastic on it and basically got huge paper cuts on all 4 fingers. Hurt like hell. Now I can't type well. Only using one finger on the one hand. But it was worth it, because that steak and potato were AWESOME!

Yet another compelling reason to forego dairy products

Can we please have a 10 page thread about this? It will make for 'good' reading later when I get back.

And glad you still enjoyed your steak, midnight.

Doesn't sour cream usually come in a plastic tub.  What top shelf sour cream was this.

It was plastic. Daisy brand. But the bitch had sharp edges that I was unaware of. It sliced my fingers open like a paper cut would. Fucker hurt.

"Don't take the Law into your own hands!  Take them to court!"  Well, I guess it would be hand, not hands, due to the injury and all.  Tell them you were traumatized and can't even look at sour cream anymore.  Claim PTSCD!

When I was learning to throw a Slider I got a huge blister on my left middle finger that was right where I grip pens or pencils

it made writing anything in school a huge hassle

I've always wondered if Right handed people wipe with their Right Hand, I've just never been in a social situation where I was brave enough to ask

Please tell me you didn't get blood in the sourcream.

Nah. I didn't contaminate it. I may have sour cream in my blood stream though. I can live with that.

It's healing. Still sore.

Do you have to clean it daily? I burned my hand twice in the past few weeks and just had to avoid hot water from touching it because of the sensitivity.

I wash my hands constantly. I just can't deal with band-aids. They affect everything I'm doing. But they will be healed in a few days.

I used to buy the the waterproof liquid band aids at CVS but they also peel off easily.
