I read his autobiography when I was a kid. What happened?

I was at a Smackdown house show, front row. Batista was the good guy, and he was fighting Edge, the heel in the match, for the World Heavyweight Championship. I was always a big fan of Edge, and never cared much for Batista. So, as a paying fan, I cheered for who I wanted to cheer for, Edge. I was booing Batista.

At house shows, the wrestlers are a lot more interactive with fans since it's not televised. Batista threw Edge out of the ring and heard me booing him. He walked over to me and got in my face telling me to sit my ass down and shut up. Actually, he said shut the fuck up. I replied to him by saying make me you big bitch. At that point, one of the WWE security guys came over and got between us. I was taking it in stride as I initially thought Batista was just giving me a memorable experience. But nah. Dude was seriously pissed.

He kept shaking the barricade and kept talking trash about how he'd kick my ass. I kept talking shit too. I was younger then and I was not backing down. At that point, the security guy said I'm not getting in between you two big dudes. I was a little taller than Batista. I was enjoying the moment but I could see Batista was not. He started backing up. I'm sure because he was getting too pissed and knew if he touched me, his ass would get fired. Then Edge came up and attacked him from behind. After the match, that Edge won, Batista went around the ring giving high fives, and when he got to me, he did a fake slap motion at me and said fuck you bitch.

Years later, after he quit the WWE a couple of times, I realized just how much people booing him got under his skin. Dude seriously can't take negative fan reactions.

Batista is my second favorite wrestler after Goldberg.....Goldberg is a monster.

But if we are sharing celeb experiences, I talked to Jaime Foxx at Paul Pierce day in Compton for about 30 minutes without ever even realizing who he was.  I thought he was just some dude boring me with his story of how he lost his favorite earring that he later found stuck under his shoe until my cousin, who was coaching asked what did me and Jaime Foxx talked about that whole time.

We went to dinner later.

Also Met Paul Pierce, but that mas much less interesting,

Jamie Foxx seems like he'd be a cool dude to chill with.

Also, I don't know if you still follow wrestling, but Batista just came back and will be fighting HHH at Wrestlemania next month.

My mom and I went into Best Buy in Savannah, I want to say about 15 years ago, and we ran into, literally, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez when they were an item. She bumped into my mom and we were going in and they were going out.

I haven't followed wrestling since maybe 2002.....It got gimmicky.....More than it already was, but I hear it's gotten better.  I have the WWE channel on my PS4 but haven't watched it.

It's still just as predictable. It is mostly boring these days, but always picks up a little around Wrestlemania season.

You ever watch Thundarr the Barbarian? Ok, well I like that show. Old school Cartoon Network, Super Chunk, ya dig? I'm gonna cop that on DVD or Blu Ray once the teams I gamble on keep screwing up on purpose to make me lose money.

Yeah. I watched them when they were new though. Not reruns on Cartoon Network.

Yes. I am old. And no. I do not rock with the legal teens. I've got kids older than you. And I am married.

Nothing to prove here.

I keep running into Coolio. It's weird. Our conversations are super short and idk if he's recognized me at all.

One time me and Stone Cold Steve Austin went around San Antonio and got in bar fights in a bunch of bars. He said he could get me a job wrestling for the WWE but I told him I didn't know if I could hold back enough to not seriously injure the other wrestlers. He said he understood.

this one time at the convenience store i worked at in high school, i stole a movie rental ticket that had been filled out by one johnny "red" kerr, 3-time NBA MVP, coach of the year, and color commentator for the chicago bulls for 30+ years, including their hot streak in the 90's.

that's the only brush with celebrity i'm interested in claiming.
