Good, next up Faceplant and Twitter....

I'm hoping it's Instagram/Facebook that goes down next. The insidious, late stage capitalism type of manipulation that goes on on those platforms is unacceptable.

i doubt facebook or twitter. companies actually use both of those. i don't know any actual company that advertises their Tumblr over their Twitter

Faceplant is losing people, and what they are describing is not a good sign for a company that tries to bill itself as young.

Not a good sign really, particularly if Congress decides to regulate them, or Trump decides to "use his phone and his pen" and bust em up under existing regulations.

bust them? but they're not a monopoly. twitter has the same advertising capabilities that facebook does. if they claimed unfair practices, that's under the FTC's purview

I've been seeing "late stage capitalism" a lot lately. Must be a trending phrase.

the comments on twitter are so fucking funny with people thinking the sky is going to fall.

amusing side note almost literally EVERY porn site on the entire net is now bragging that they plan to implement tumblr type functions to their sites (some even saying you can literally import your entire blog to their site) and inviting all the artists to join them for free
