PokeNirvash
I had a feeling that kid was a ghost all along. Is this how it feels for something to be predictable?

InuYasha never got bad. A little repetitive maybe. But I was always entertained with every episode. And I know filler is hated now, but the filler in InuYasha was actually enjoyable. DBZ too. Don't know why filler has to be such low-effort garbage nowadays. At least it should be a thing of a past now with the industry having adopted the seasonal model. Hishaku's whole crew is safely preserved inside the monster's blly/eggsac/nest to be revealed at the end of the episode or 2. Hishaku's been a ghost this whole time and, by defeating the monster, Naruto will free the boy's soul to the afterlife HOLY SHIT YOU WERE RIGHT! CorbeauKarasu
InuYasha's filler got pretty bad at times. but it never felt as bad s Naruto's because it very rarely got the tpoint that it spit in the face of the canon, like naruto filler routinely does. plus, since inuyasha was already a "wandering adventures" type story, their meandering adventures didn't seem out of place.

They played up the love triangle way more in the anime. And filler and padding of course. Still need to finish reading it. A lot of the repetitiveness came straight from the manga though. Well yeah, pare down the stuff from the original series, and expand the Final Act portion, since so much was cut and rushed there.
OwlChemist81
Would need to bring that epic musical score from 2000 back though, unlike Brotherhood, which had a completely different (though equally excellent) score. Hell, at this point I'd even expect a Boruto-style continuation of InuYasha...
ben0119
A full-on remake would be great but I doubt it would happen. Since the showrunner promised to finish InuYasha one day, that's why he had to keep his promise and eventually make Final Act. Since he didn't say it what capacity he would finish it, we got that rush job that was Final Act. But if it did happen, yeah, you gotta bring back that score. Final Act didn't have enough, if any, new music though. Some new characters, like Byakuya of the Dreams, deserved themes. But again, they got by with doing the least they could. It doesn't seem like Sunrise would be too interested in making any more InuYasha and was happy to be done with it. I highly doubt that. Naraku is dead and the Sacred Jewel destroyed, and peace is seemingly brought to the Feudal Era, at least in terms of human vs demon conflicts. Miroku and Sango had three kids, but Inuyasha and Kagome didn't thave any... yet. Edited November 10, 2018 by ben0119
