Sasami was a saint. How dare you.

she was also 9 years old

so her being treated like a viable Member of the Harem was..........questionable

of course the whole Harem was made up of Tenchi's Aunts so technically the whole harem was Incestuous too

Wasn't she like 5000 or something stupid?

Jurains (the alien race most of the girls belong too) live for thousands of years but age much slower

she was 900 chronologically but she was 9 physically

her older sister Ayeka was physically 21, which is still questionable since Tenchi was 15

Washu was 20'000 but was choosing to de-age herself to make herself 12 (apparently)

Mihoshi's age was never really confirmed,

Noike must be around as old as Ayeka

and Ryoko was 800 years old...but physically she was 17

How old was Aisha?

Because she totally had a thing for Jim and he was like 12 or something.

different Show

but I imagine the ages in that show were more reasonable

edit: Aisha was 18, Jim was 11

She was also a catgirl alien too, though.

So... Is that like... Closer to furry or zoophilia?

she clearly looked more human than animal so furry

but not even really furry because Catgirls aren't considered furry

edit let's consult the "is it furry" chart

.... if Overlord is a parody of anything, then I'm a pink polka-dotted talking muffin.

Overlord's not really a straight parody, it's not like foremost a comedy. But it has undeniable satirical elements against the tropes found in Overlord's peers.

For instance, the whole concept of Ains having a harem of females (which are intentionally overly aggressive to point out the ridiculousness of the idea in the first place) and is also a skeletal undead which physically is incapable of arousal is a prime example.

There are other examples, but I think you understand what I mean.

"The hero died when he was thrown off his pizza delivery bike. When he's about to be reborn into a new world, the goddess tasked with his reincarnation lets him choose between three options: he can be heroic swordsman, a wizard, or hero that saves the world with pizza. He takes so long to decide that the first two options are taken by other people and he's stuck with the third. He's reborn in an elf country as the "high-calorie hero." Equipped only with the power of pizza, he hires the appetite demon lord's daughter Liria to help him run the pizza parlor."

Pizza boy and 'Liria' huh.

Exactly what is it parodying?

If your answer is "isekai", then that's not a parody, it's a deconstruction of a genre. I suppose I only call something a parody if it's parodying a specific title, rather than a genre.

Also, the show soon goes on to shed some of its initial comedic tones and becomes a beast unto itself, developed and deep in its own world-building and drama.

................actually it kinda does, Fry is a Naive everyman with no special abilities or skills who gets trapped in another world against his will and has a bunch of women who all wanna fuck him, one of whom is super Tsundere about it (Leela) and the Tsundere one is ultimately the one he ends up with

Leela the one-eyed mutant, Amy the Martian, Edna the "fish monster," Umbriel the mermaid, Lucy Liubot, Morgan Proctor,  Yivo the Shklee, Colleen the polygamist, Ornik the Amazonian, Petunia the prostitute from Nutley, his own grandmother, and a radiator.

Quite the harem.

I'd argue it doesn't. Fry does go to a new world, but it's the same world in the same reality 1,000 years in the future.  He doesn't go to an alternate dimension.

A bunch?

Doesn't he only fuck like... 3 or 5 women in the entire series?

He even gets dumped by his old girlfriend from the past.

How is it a harem?

How many of those characters reoccur let alone live to serve him?

Overlord is a parody, but it's funny because it's also a better Isekai than most tryhard shows even (in a non-parody sense).

Parody has become a broad term. In my view it's more of a satire, as I see parody as an exaggeration of another series. This is usually done with spinoff series like the chibi Rock Lee and Attack on Titan shows. Satire just takes elements from a genre and flips them. Like how 99% of Isakai are about stopping the demon lord, in this Ainz is the Demon lord.

Kiyone Makibi was one, but it was like how Meryl from trigun was one.

Kiyone never displayed any strong feelings whatsoever for tenchi neither positive nor negative

her OVA counterpart Noike's apparent character defining moment was jerking off a Carrot in an attempt to turn Tenchi on

16TMRO04.jpg

though otherwise she did tend to be SLIGHTLY Tsundere.....but never to the point that She denied liking Tenchi
