Were the tweets really really so bad he deserved to be fired for something he said a decade ago? I didn't find them with a quick google search, don't care enough to put in more effort than that.

There was one tweet that seemed to indicate he was posting child porn to his personal blog, but it was actually just video of a children's choir singing a song with dirty lyrics.

This guy has had a fucked-up sense of humor over the years, which extends to most of his filmogrophy, but he seems pretty nice, and not deserving of any of this shit coming to him. Basically, I plead the majority's response.
