scoobdog Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/20/entertainment/avicii-dj-dead/index.html I really admired his work. And, he was gone way too soon.
Drunkenwarrior Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Yea...I think I listened to one of his songs once
Chapinator_X Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 (edited) Even though I wasn't invested in his post-Levels work, it's rough to see "dead at 28". And almost a month after his documentary hit Netflix where he talks about why his health concerns caused him to retire from touring too. Edited April 20, 2018 by imchapp.in 1
scoobdog Posted April 20, 2018 Author Posted April 20, 2018 After he stopped touring, he had basically disappeared. I really had no idea he was as sick as he was.
Satou Kazuma Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 I only know one song and one song only. Wake me up, that is, until it was played to death by my top 40 station. Other than that, I don't listen to him. I'm more of a trance/progressive type of guy.
scoobdog Posted April 20, 2018 Author Posted April 20, 2018 As am I. I mean, this is a big story in the EDM world, easily the biggest since the Brazilian stage collapse. It probably won't make waves outside the music industry though.
Satou Kazuma Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Avicii is mainstream, so he gets a brief mention of his passing on most news sites. Nonetheless RIP.

Well, chances are you're going to have other severe problems before your liver craps out, but no one should ever be under the illusion that drinking doesn't have fatal consequences.
