Negative...it helps regulate serotonin in the brain which can help with depression, anxiety....ect...well it can help with insomnia but it does lots more....

phillies is right. it was prescribed to help me sleep but then i told my dr. i wasnt as sad then he told me it was a mild antidepressant

Us bipolar folks aren't suppose to even touch anti depressants.

yah my doc didnt initially tell me it was an antidepressant. antidepressants caused me to be hospitalized once. thankfully the effect is mild...not me going completely bonkers like that one time
