lupin_bebop Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 It's nice to be able to go. This is my first time ever going to PAX. It was a lot of fun. Definitely want to go again. Got to win some stuff, and bought some stuff. If you like games of any sort, it's DEFINITELY the place to be. 2

I took place in the Smash invitational, too. My favorite game is Just Shapes & Beats. That game is going to be FANTASTIC when it releases. Got a chance to play some Jackbox Games with the developers. Made them laugh. 1

Figures. Expand There is a focus on ALL gaming. There is still a large gathering for tabletop gaming, so yes, you're going to see that. They aren't about big name games, because it's a focus on indie games. PAX is Penny Arcade Expo.

Expand I know exactly what PAX is. The event in Philly, PAX Unplugged, was specifically focused on tabletop gaming and was distinct from a normal PAX.

I can see where there is a need and niche for it, but I wouldn’t attend.

But I wound up getting an opportunity to move to Vegas so I took it. Went to EVO, though, so there's that. There are so many conventions out here; it's crazy. Work, more often than not, prevents me from going to practically all of them, though.
