It's nice to be able to go. This is my first time ever going to PAX. It was a lot of fun. Definitely want to go again. Got to win some stuff, and bought some stuff. If you like games of any sort, it's DEFINITELY the place to be.

Gross.

It was the fold out bed. There were 4 of us in a room.

What all kinds of games in stuff did you take part in?

LOTS of games. I took place in the Smash invitational, too. My favorite game is Just Shapes & Beats. That game is going to be FANTASTIC when it releases. Got a chance to play some Jackbox Games with the developers. Made them laugh.

I wouldn't mind going to a gamer convention. Not sure if I can see myself doing a comicon..

PAX is all about gaming. PC, console, tabletop, and mobile. Comic Con is about geek and nerd culture, in general. Which includes music.

There was a Philly PAX this year, but it was focused on tabletop gaming, which I have just about zero interest in.  Figures.

There is a focus on ALL gaming. There is still a large gathering for tabletop gaming, so yes, you're going to see that. They aren't about big name games, because it's a focus on indie games. PAX is Penny Arcade Expo.

Uh you do know that PAX copied E3

Not really. They aren't about stroking overinflated egos of big name publishers with news conferences.

I know exactly what PAX is. The event in Philly, PAX Unplugged, was specifically focused on tabletop gaming and was distinct from a normal PAX.

Yeah. That one is all about the analogue tabletop and cards.

I can see where there is a need and niche for it, but I wouldn’t attend.

When I used to live out near Austin, I was planning on going to PAX since San Antonio was not even an hour away. But I wound up getting an opportunity to move to Vegas so I took it. Went to EVO, though, so there's that. There are so many conventions out here; it's crazy. Work, more often than not, prevents me from going to practically all of them, though.
