Some people sent us a box of this stuff called 'Moose Munch' or Crunch or something. Basically caramel covered popcorn mixed in with nuts and some of them are clustered together with coatings of dark chocolate. Tasted delicious. Gave me the worst squirts in ages though

You could even use ice cream caramel sauce and chocolate syrup, and just stick it in the fridge to firm up.

Unless it's that white cheddar black bag shit. Sometimes I just get a hankering for one of them.

Cooking shows used to be about people actually cooking, you know, you could watch it and be able to make that recipe. Now it is all drama or travel crap. I don't know why, they are way too salty for me, but I kind of want some. I think I might bake some molasses drop cookies.

I flipped over the food channel maybe like a year ago and it was like... A cupcake competition show with young children as contestants. My friend, my sober friend, patiently continued to reassure me that I was still alive and had not, in fact, died and gone to Hell.

It's the American version of the Great British Bake Off. I actually enjoy it because it isn't all dramatic, it's quite wholesome. And each week is a different item. Like one week it'll be patisseries, another week will be bread, and so on. I prefer the British version over the American, but they're both decent. I wonder if Mary Berry will be on the American one this year since BBC lost the rights to it and no Mary Berry on the British version anymore. No. That doesn't sound like a rip-off of Iron Chef at all.

Russian teacakes (Mexican wedding rings) are great cookies. The trick is waiting just long enough for the first coating of confectioner's sugar to melt onto the cookie like a glaze, then cooling enough to have the second and third layers remain powdery and white. And not eating them all while you are supposed to be waiting for them to cool.
