King_TICCore Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 No, have you ever watched the Shojo Horror Anime Hell Girl? "Purgatory Girl" is the name of a Hell Girl episode. No, I can't say that I have, but I don't watch much anime. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 No, I can't say that I have, but I don't watch much anime. Hell Girl aired on IFC 10-11 years ago. The network only aired Season 1. The last 2 seasons weren't dubbed yet at the time. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I can't remember. Did I already share this song by London After Midnight in our previous thread? Quote
CAC Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Hell Girl aired on IFC 10-11 years ago. The network only aired Season 1. The last 2 seasons weren't dubbed yet at the time. I loved Hell Girl. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Listening to this song is nostalgic. I'll never forget, when Johnny Depp introduced Nine Inch Nails' performance at the 1999 MTV VMA's. The crowd was lively and actually cheering, too. Looking back, that was when MTV still cared about music videos, before everyone and their dog decided to become "political activists," and before MTV launched a bunch of socially inept, teenybopper dramas and reality shows. Naraku4656 Posted October 14, 2017 Author Posted October 14, 2017 i've been out of goth music for a while now. so Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I actually enjoyed this music collaboration with The Cure. KoRn has not released a good album within the last 10-14 years. Untouchables was really their last best album in 2002. It redeemed them from their 4th album, Issues. I can't believe I submitted my artwork to KoRn for such a shitty album in 1999. To add to it, they didn't even choose a real KoRn fan as their winner. Now that I think about it, it was for the best of all Old School KoRn Kids that our artwork wasn't chosen for their Issues album. 2003 to the present, most of their songs have sucked. The first 3 albums and their 5th album were the best albums KoRn released. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Before our original thread was moved to the Music sub-forum, I shared the longer version of "Christian Woman." Luckily, they didn't move this thread. Quote
Stonergoth187 Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Goth thread? I thought i saw the goth signal. Sorry im too late Quote

PurgatoryGirl Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 It's been a while, since I last shared any Thrill Kill Kult. I'll never forget when the band performed the original version of "After The Flesh" in The Crow, during that shoot out scene. I can't remember if I shared this in our last thread or not. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 My friend's wife did the vocals on this song and turned it into a lyrical video for the film, Tales Of Dracula. He said the song is about Francis For Copalla's version of Dracula. After Dracula's wife dies, he denounces God. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 The like button keeps disappearing on my end. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Are we still posting in this thread or did we all call it quits? I had planned to post these 2 songs on Halloween, but I'm undecided about going back to periodically lurking. The energy is just as dead as ASMB before it was shut down. That's besides having to comb through toxic and divisive threads around the board with posters broadcasting their everyday personal issues and pissing contests. Anyway, here are those 2 songs I already planned on sharing for Halloween, in this thread. Quote
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 In 2005, Siouxsie And The Banshees' 4th album, Juju was published in Universe Publishing's book, 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. According to The Guardian in 2007, Juju ranked on the "1000 Albums To Hear Before You Die" List. Quote
