Zenigundam Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 but in Attack on Titan, the characters are bugging out every waking moment of every episode. There could be a scene where a character is making coffee, and he'll start bugging out and having a mental breakdown over whether to choose Maxwell House or Folgers. Yeah Attack on Titan officially fell off the map. C rate anime that had promise if the characters weren't all defined by sappy, melodramatic monologues.
PhilosipherStoned Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I don't want to rag on it too much since I only watched the first season, and kinda lost interest when it got ultra trendy, but that was a real issue I had with it.. Even if you're kids you've been training excessively to string up 100 foot plus giants that destroyed half your world, and you somehow manage to still have a melodramatic episode everytime anything exciting happens.. Decent animation, and the story isn't half as lame as some anime so whatever.
André Toulon Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 It got old really fast. I was excited when I first saw it....It felt like something fresh, but it shot it's wad early. Then when you notice they recycle the crowd screens a lot you just get bored with it. I do enjoy this still
Chapinator_X Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Who would take the most time trying to make a cup of coffee: the cast of Attack on Titan or Death Note?
Zenigundam Posted July 16, 2017 Author Posted July 16, 2017 Trash animu U right Zeni There's much worse out there, but for all of the hype it's garnered the past few years, it sure is a letdown.
Zenigundam Posted July 16, 2017 Author Posted July 16, 2017 Anime/Toonami ==> Leave Toonami out of it though; Toonami is awful.
Zenigundam Posted July 16, 2017 Author Posted July 16, 2017 Then when you notice they recycle the crowd screens a lot you just get bored with it. Yeah it got really old about ten episodes in, maybe even sooner than that. Chronic laziness by the creators
