Aw thanks. Well, Mom's bringing the Turkey and I have one of those turkey roaster thingies...so I'll put her on basting duty 👍 probably the easiest job because of the roaster. It's the mashed potatoes I'm dreading...I just know they're going to be tasteless. I'll have to fix them, I can fix them, I CAN FIX THIS!!! Calm down, I can fix this. *nods*

People who love naps run the risk of missing things. Such as a group text in which your family collectively decides they're having Thanksgiving at your house. 23 messages of who's coming at what time , what they're bringing, who might want crash-space and then finally the last text ending with, "What do you think *insert my name*?" To which I responded a half hour later, "I think I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year." I choose to believe this is happening not because I'm a complete push-over but because I informed my mom that I wasn't traveling three hours this year (because of my inner ear) so they're coming here instead...that's what I'm telling myself, lol. I just finished ordering sides from Shoprite on the grounds that I think this is kinda last minute. Not actually but sort of mostly because of all the cleaning I'm going to have to do...but also mentally it's kinda last minute, no?
