If we've learned anything this past year it's that confining people to their homes has resulted in an increase in domestic violence...at least here in the States.
As far as gay men not posing a threat to women, that may be true, but the curfew would also keep other men safe wouldn't it? I'm not in favor of the curfew, I'm just trying to work out the logic behind it. Also this has nothing to say about the mentality of a rapist and their lack of moral compass when it comes to who or what they rape. Most incarcerated rapists admit to 'forcing sex without consent" but when asked if they "raped" their answer is no because there is a disconnection with themselves and the act, their motives are more complex then 'I'm horney and can't get laid' and they don't perceive themselves as 'the bad guy'(or the bad person, respectively).
