EPISODE 17 DISCUSSION Last time on Sword Art Online: Alicization, Kirito and Eugeo finished their battle with Fanatio and Kirito had her transported to the library to be healed by Cardinal, using up one of their special daggers. They finally made their way to Alice and had quite the battle. They thought they had one when Eugeo froze Alice, but she was able to free herself. Kirito and Alice clashed with their Perfect Weapon Control, which resulted in blowing out the wall of the tower and sending them both back outside, before the wall healed itself! I mean it's not like the people who still cared about Samurai Jack had any issues finding it. In the same interview, he was also bitter about Lucasfilm doing the CGI Clone Wars, but changed his mind on that at least. Genndy's Clone Wars series is awesome but the CGI series is great in its own right too. You couldn't have had the CGI series without Genndy's series. It's a clear inspiration and direct spiritual successor. I also thought sequel of sorts but Genndy's series isn't canon anymore for some reason? Does it conflict somehow with the other series? He also openly bitches about doing the Hotel Transylvania movies over his own stuff (gotta say I got no indication from the trailers that he made them and they don't interest me AT ALL) and Hollywood not buying any of his original ideas. I'm sure that will do him wonders.

I am surprised they didn't put AoT first. I thought MHA did bad which is why they removed it from opening up before. Thought maybe they put it here to be the future anchor after Super ends, but Daos sais MHA just has 12 episodes left, so I dunno. I agree that The Promised Neverland and Attack on Titan go perfectly together. So many parallels there. Yeah when I first saw the report from CBR or whatever it was I thought they moved everything up, too, but that's not the case. They worded that article really poorly.

And that's degraded over time which is why she can't remember her name and acts so robotic. Her job isn't the most mentally stimulating either lol. Besides, Yuuki, well... He lost all those fights with Liena, but obviously wasn't going all out. He's lost real life kendo sparring sessions to Suguha, but Kirito doesn't actually have any athletic or fighting ability in real life, I don't think. There was the draw to Sinon in GGO. I heard that's a straight win for Sinon in the books but I haven't checked to make sure, or what the circumstances of said possible win were. I don't think Kirito and Asuna did any training or sparring? Seems like a missed opportunity there.

Yeah it's the best written SAO but the time skips and rape comes back lol. Kayaba's AI ghost had been floating around before that though, right? Apparently in the books Kirito imagines himself getting beaten by Kayaba, but then is like nuh-UH not gonna happen, and psychs himself up. Not sure why this was shown as time rewinding in the anime but it doesn't come across well.
