I had some fillings done yesterday. Feels like they cut the hell out of something, but I have a higher pain threshold than most, so hard to relate to it being painful to chew. Worst was still the impacted wisdom teeth. I had two root canals, but the wisdom teeth one was by far the worst because I had a sadist for a dentist at the time and he pulled em without me being fully numb. Though the recovery was fine since the pain from that was secondary to the pain I had from them being impacted.

I'm too desensitized to find much weird anymore. I tend to see more humor in it than cringe as it's fairly self aware of what it's doing. Never watched this show though so I don't really know what it's about.

I thought that meant that having something is better than nothing. You usually at least try to only ever drink running/loud water. Quiet water is stagnate however if you're dying of thirst you'll gladly drink it even if it's not what you wanted. I felt like that describes him in many ways. He knows that the hero people want would be someone like the others. However people who are really in need will be happier that he helped them in their time of need than did nothing.

Spend about the same on canned air and cleaning shit. Just easier to pay for the service and get brand new every year or two. In the past I've never gotten more than 3 years our of a keyboard or mouse anyway with how much I use them. So either I spend $220 every 3 years, or spend that once then $20 ever 1-2 years. That latter makes far more sense to me.

Yeah my health hasn't been the greatest this past year. Monday I gotta go in for a 3hr lung exam. Then they want to schedule a lung biopsy on me. They're at least paying me for my time and getting to experiment on me. Gets tiresome but such is life.

Might be in later, might not. Just had a headache come on. Going to take some meds and lay down for a bit to see if it'll pass.

Wish I could find this funny comic page of her and Deku. It's fan made, but she sees the big "ears" on Deku's costumes mask and she thinks he's trying to be like her and gets flattered. When in reality the long "ears" on his mask are supposed to look like Allmights hair.

She's pretty much like Mt.Lady. Shows up a couple of times, then is gone for fucking ever. MHA has surpassed Bleach in making good side characters that they do nothing with.

I just go to best buy and get a new one for $10 every couple of years. Buy an expensive razer keyboard and mouse. Pay the $10 2 year warranty. Get's close to 2 years, go back to best buy tell them it's not registering an input correctly. Pick out a new keyboard, pay another $10 for a 2 year plan on it repeat.

The concept of badge collecting made more sense than the scroll one. However I can't think of any real fights in it. Gon just stalked Hisoka for a few episodes, Ikumi dug a hole and took a nap, there was something about a cave with snakes and bees before they just knocked the chick out and took her badge. I think you'd need to combine the Tower of Heaven arc with the exam arc to get a fair assumption of the Chunin exams. Even then Chunin exams still had more hype battles. To me the best arc was the York new city arc and Tower of Heaven. Never really got into the ant arc or Perfect Cell playing boardgames with pinball wizard. Greed Island though was the worst arc, and I feel that the Hunter Exam arc is just slightly above Greed Island. I don't read the manga, so I can't say anything for the arcs past ant; but I heard they went over a year without updating the manga.

Agree, but Naruto I still think did it better. I didn't care much for the final tournament that Netero put together. Though characters and story elements were just reskins of HXH. I mean were there any hype battles really in the HXH exam arc? Compared to the fights in the chunin exams anyway I can't think of anything that stands out aside from Gon getting punched in the face for an episode, and Killua throwing his match. Then in Naruto you had like a dozen big fights, and the Rock lee vs Garra and Naruto vs Neji fights are still considered among the best in anime.

I find it comedic, but I've noticed not everyone shares/gets my sense of humor.

Sports festival was boring as hell to me as well. What was weird was that the majority were hype as fuck about it comparing it to the chunin exams. This was an arc where the high stakes were an unpaid 8 week internship. The chunin exams had people fucking dying.

It's good for making fries and freezer snacks. I haven't had any luck cooking meat in it though.

What else would you expect in a thread asking about what is appealing in a series where the MC's super power is brittle bone disease, crying, and getting arthritis before he reaches 20 for 4 seasons.
