scientology is the most underrated religion outcha'

This guy's saying 6'6'' so the translation from Hebrew I guess is debated as 2 different things. So either he was like a foot taller than the largest human to ever live, or he was like 4'' taller than me, but still shorter than Hulk Hogan. -

I don't know, sounded like you were spouting bullshit with no idea what you were talking about. I thought by now you'd be tired of eating the same thing -

My friends uncle is a Cardinal so his family gets pretty religious. I'm fine with people having a religion, it's what they want to do. I only ever get bothered when people bring me or my soul into it. It's like don't worry about my soul. His family after 23 years of knowing them have gotten pretty chill over that though. My one friend from HS though was a born again christian. All 7 years that I knew him in school fucker was never religious. Now he's the type of person that will spam bible quotes on facebook, and claim that every good thing that has ever happened in life is because of god, and only through god can you be blessed. I'm not going to say this to him, but motherfucker your dad's brain has gone to mush and he's in a wheelchair. The guys younger than my dad and looks old enough to be his grandfather. Did you or him just not pray hard enough or what? Again I'm not going to say that; but I sure do think it. If a soul is a thing more likely than not it's not going to have your memories or personality. It'll probably keep political views but those just seem to be hardwired in there and nothing can change them. Pretty much just a formless shape devoid of thought basking in the light of god in a void of nothingness. That or it's like the cartoons where you get wings and a halo and everyone is just chill with each other because that clearly works on earth. -

Lets see I said that covid vaccine would be in clinical late August to mid September. I said how long it would take for supplies to be restocked. I said a vaccine would be approved for a first run Late November to Late January. I said that Hurricanes happen every year between late August and mid December like clock work. I said I spoke to voice actors and funimation about question's I've had. Even back then I said take it for a grain of salt, but I've been pretty damn accurate on all of my educated guesses I made back in March. The VA and Funi thing is more of a matter of fact though; that you and empress felt was impossible for someone to send emails and receive replies. Which I now have to publish all of my private conversations because some people go insane asshole mode. Also my post about religion is a joke. It's overly generalizing things. You can make anything sound petty if you overly generalize shit and cherry pick the most insane or mundane parts. Take a break for a while if shit online is getting under your skin to that level. You're taking shit too seriously. -

They still believe it, it's old testament. New Testament has all the really plausible stuff like walking on water, rising from the dead, making water into wine and duplicating fish and bread, pregnant virgins, implying that people can live in a desert for 40 days and nights without food, water, or shelter wearing only rags. Christianity would be like if someone found Scientology, fully bought into it, then decided it needed to be longer; and edit out some of the original stuff because pigs taste good. -
If you think about it in how insignifigant any crime you could ever commit is in the grand scheme of the vastness of the universe; and how that is even nothing compared to the infinite of time. It makes anything you could ever possibly do, and everything that has every been done to be as insignificant that it may as well have never happened.

Christianity made the mistake of writing past Genesis. Scientology just covered the origin part of the story about alien slaves crashing into a volcano and their souls inhabiting humanity. They didn't go further with it like trying to explain a 400 year old man gathering 2 of every animal, or people turning into salt, or the worlds largest man standing at a staggering 6'1'' would crush towns and send armies running in terror until he got killed by a young boy throwing a rock, and despite his army still having greater numbers, all retreat in fear like it's the Empire at the end of the Return of the Jedi. Pretty much why a Priest is there to interpret the bible to people. No rational person is hearing those stories, and saying "yeah that totally happened, it's just so plausible". -

Reminds me of how people were freaked out by this nick short. I remember watching it but it was lost media for a short time. Everyone remembered it as a turkey eating kids, which is what made it harder to find, because everyone kept looking at this one old nick show called Turkey Television that has an ass ton of episodes. Turned out it was a vulture not a turkey and was just some short that some kids made and sent in to nick. Attack of the Giant Vulture

Didn't help that Drinky Crow was 2008-2010, and wasn't on before reboot; and wasn't a duck, and he would have been like 16-17 not 7. Though every other description was spot on
-
Yeah scifi used to have anime on at like 3am. It's where I watched Armitage III for the first time.

"oh I was a kid like 7 at the time" Must have been sweet that your grandma's tv picked up shows from 9 years into the future, and placed it airing before Reboot in the after school block. Also that you remembered drinky crow as a duck. Cool that it got found though. Must have been traumatizing when you watched that when you were like 19 >___>

I think you're thinking of the one on MTV called Cartoon Sushi

I've got a dog sleeping on me, so Ive got that going for me right now. -
King is self aware that he craps the bed on his endings. Ironically the It film adaptations would actually have made more sense if they'd just introduce that god damn giant god turtle!

Flagg kinda goes out like a bitch for all the trouble he gives the gunslinger. Then again he did get hit with a nuke. Kinda a shitty way to just remove a threat. I mean lets take every King story then just have a Nuke go off to remove the antagonist. The overlook hotel, replace the boiler with a nuke better story. You can't tell me that Cujo wouldn't have been a much better story if the dog was killed in a nuclear blast. It's just a really easy and plausible solution to all of Kings stories. I honestly could never watch the stand mini-series all the way through. It was more boring than the book. Yeah Bill Fagerbakke also played Dauber in Coach.

I checked the what a cartoon episodes with ducks and none had guns. Also checked o' canada and no luck, but that would have aired well after reboot was on. I'm thinking it must have been in the Acme Hour and it would have either been daffy, or the drunk stork. I couldn't find an episode though where the drunk stork had a gun. Though I do seem to remember a cut away gag where he did shoot himself because he didn't want to carry a really heavy baby. Though the drunk stork is the main character I can remember being in bars. I don't remember any of Daffy going to a pawn shop and buying a gun though. He usually just pulls a gun out of hammerspace and shoots himself.

Never liked the Stand myself. I was in my teens though when I was reading King books, so that might play into it. I just remember it being a chore to get through.

I started reading some h.p lovecraft last month. Only did 2 stories so far. The Dreams in the witch House, and The shadow over Innsmouth. I felt that Witch House was the better story. Innsmouth kinda has a lot of the piss taken out of it because the twist is so well known by this point that it's fish people. The story mainly banks on you being horrified by the idea of Fish People. Kind of an issue with lovecraft and King. They bank on you being freaked out by fish/bugs as much as they are, that they don't fully go into detail why they're horrifying; because just the idea of fish/bugs are horrifying enough to their imagination. Really if it weren't for all the fanart that lovecraft gets, I'd have assumed the deep ones looked more like the fish in spongebob from how they're described. It's like bro you just described a fish with arms and legs with slippery white bellies. Junji Ito I think wins on fucked up fish stories. Witch house though had a lot more messed up stuff going on than innsmouth imho. Really don't know why innsmouth is ranked so high always in the top 3 stories. Witch house ends up in like 12th-8th in rankings. I assume because it doesn't really tie into the cuthulhu lore as strongly.
