Democrats got nothing out of the debt ceiling negotiations. Republicans made out like bandits. work requirements that was supposed to be a non starter happened anyway. IRS is defunded so we’re back to them not being able to audit the mega rich. Spending on social programs stays the same so that’s basically a cut, the paygo provision just about guarantees that nothing the democrats promised will happen, definitely not in the next 2 years because whatever they want to increase spending on, cuts have to come from elsewhere and we know that’s not gonna happen terrible deal

Well shit is getting pretty bad out there. So many states have passed anti lgbtq legislation specifically targeting young transgender individuals. People on social media are putting out videos claiming “they’re hunting for lgbtq and allies” and then they filmed themselves destroying a target display and yelling “it’s the devil” earlier this year or late last year a few transgender streamers were doxxed and SWATed. The other day Ted Cruz received backlash from his own people for speaking out against Uganda and their enforcement of the death penalty on people from the lgbtq community. I mean fuck Ted Cruz, now he can see the absolute insanity he and his ilk have created with their rhetoric against “wokeness” they now no longer hide that they really want the lgbtq community completely eliminated. I say all this to say it’s appropriate to worry now.

I finished Fired on Mars and it went totally different than I thought and I really liked it and I absolutely want another season cuz I got questions. example I had assumed they weren’t on Mars that long but I think it’s supposed to be a not so distant future I highly recommend the series. There aren’t big spoilers under the tag I just covered jic u like watching totally blind. someone please watch so we can discuss. My other half doesn’t really like it
