it's still stupid.....just makes me think they don't really view fire force as being worth mentioning

i don't understand this....are they really set to pretend Fire Force S2 doesn't exist simply because of SAO's return to the block?

sooooo....it's wednensday and there's still no fire force S2 promo....

i didn't think bebop would get into the finals but i guess nostalgia's one hell of a drug

okay so I'm hearing that apparently it's not DBZ Kai that's in the final four but the original DBZ..... is notalgia really so strong that the best two shows toonami ever aired are DBZ Classic And Bebop?

that's the thing....toonami fans aren't like typical adult swim fans they aren't tuning in for whatever low budget dumpster fire content they have to offer so to expect them to see a fire force S2 promo aired during the regular adult swim block is silly

christmas movies all month long in november and then they have the christmas themed event they do for the channel in december so 2 months of christmas movies...

that's the only explanation....they made promo's for SAO and gemusetto but didn't make one for fire force season 2?...i really do think that as soon as it was official they were getting the final part of SAO Alice they decided fire force was an afterthought and not really worth mentioning anymore however someone on the anime superheroes/toonzone forums believes "hey they probably didn't have enough time to make a promo and it will show up later much like the promised neverland marathon promo" although i wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a promo at all this week and toonami really couldn't care less about fire force season 2 airing on the block

I'm shocked too...You'd think MHA would easily beat bebop due to how popular it's become and yet that isn't the case here

it just really seems like toonami has no interest at all to advertise fire force....and if they don't care then why should the audience? that's the message they are sending... yet they made a big announcement about fire force S2 months in advance of it's toonami air date(which would later be pushed back due to two weeks of batman animated movies) and that was the last time they mentioned the second season they never even made the announcement that fire force second 2 was coming to the block during the block itself

what's strange is the last time i even saw the polls...Bebop was beating MHA so the final match up will probably be cowboy bebop versus dbz kai for the best toonami show

it almost feels like they decided "Welp no need to actually promote this since SAO's Back" although it's depressing that they put more effort into promoting gemusetto than they did fire force season 2....

if we can do a full group that would be cool eh i avoid the discord because i only come here to discuss toonami and that place is mostly to just incoherently shit post

the reason she does that and the reason she has a throne made out of men is because she sees her appearance as a key asset as a tool for manipulation we know how many fire soldiers in her company are horny for her and she takes full advantage of that this isn't some fetish for her it's just her going full blown cartoony super villain she denounced her religion due to the infernal incident and had done everything in her power to go against what she once stood for which includes dehumanizing men and acting like everyone else is gravel that should be grateful to be around her all of this was an act...an act to fool herself into thinking she was evil

i wasn't thinking it was just 10 episodes of nothing but fanservice i was just noting that for how quickly this topic derailed into "Ranting about soul eater fanservice" there's not all that much in soul eater as i said the majority of it comes from the minor character blair who never really amounted to much....

Several Unlikable Characters? the only one that springs to mind is hibana and even then she's a side-character at best Company 8 doesn't really have much in the way of fan annoyance when it comes to characters arthur is just a goofy meat head that's just obsessed with being labeled a knight shinra's the typical shonen protagonist obi's the no nonsense leader maki's the one with self-esteem issues vulcan's the inventor/tech genius licht is the oddball weirdo we all know tamaki's schtick so i won't even describe her here

still that's not "Fanservice in every episode" i think we got way off track here when the discussion veered into "soul eater had fanservice crammed into it" when that never was the case.....

so i don't get why people keep hammering in this idea that soul eater was filled to the brim with fan-service it wasn't.... it's as if people don't even remember soul eater properly
