I'm wondering why this marathon wasn't mentioned during the block....the only hint there was gonna be a marathon happened to be the assassination classroom next episode promo where it stated "Assassination Classroom will return in 2 weeks" but then the block never explains what's happening next week....so unless you keep up to date with the schedule changes on social media you'd have no idea what's going on

at least Inko's actually a cute chubby lady and not some comical joke like puli angel from black clover....

it's not but i don't think the manga bashes you over the head with it like the anime does

if they don't say anything about black clover then that might tempt some fans to simply subscribe to funimation's service instead of waiting for a return that not happen...because let's say it does return in january that's a long time for BC Fans to wait when they could simply just watch those dubbed episodes on funimation's site rather than wait for toonami to air them and yeah i don't really see the logic for the marathon especially since fire force season 2 has 10 episodes currently dubbed...so I'm really trying to come up with an explanation for why a marathon was even scheduled for halloween what makes all of this extra odd is the assassination classroom next episode promo mentioned "assassination classroom will return in 2 weeks" however it was never mentioned on air why that would be the case

just like how i can't make any sense of them not mentioning black clover's break is only temporary.... i can't understand why they wouldn't mention a marathon's happening on halloween.... I'm not sure why....especially since a lot of parties and halloween events have been canceled due to covid-19 so it's not like anyone would think the normal block would be interrupted due to saturday falling on a halloween we've had very few marathons this year and the only reason one would happen now would be to stall for time although now we know that isn't the case as without black clover there isn't anything on the block at risk of running out of episodes soon

pretty much you can even go to the person's account and hit "tweet" to already have they're handle included especially since black clover's been on toonami for nearly 3 years!....it's been a consistent part of the regular line up and so having it disappear without a word from demarco and company makes zero sense they informed people that jojo's bizarre adventure golden wind would be taking a temporary break when it needed time to dub more episodes so why is it so hard to do the same for black clover? and it's not just black clover there's a halloween marathon next week yet there wasn't a mention of that at all tonight...not even one promo

the assumption is that it'll be gone until January when the next spot opens up...

i don't think he really uses his ask.fm account much anymore so I'd say twitter and yeah it's really lame they said nothing at all i can't even figure out what prompted them to avoid saying "black clover's taking a break but don't worry it'll return!" if you have plans to bring it back then don't leave people to assume it isn't coming back because you chose to say nothing about it's departure from the block

and that's fine but these days you can never be too careful since there are a lot of people who refuse to take this seriously and think it's all a hoax.....so many people walking into grocery stores not wearing a mask

it's mind boggling that anyone would really think "Hey people have places to be on halloween"....no they really don't i expect more people to be watching toonami next week than they realize

unless people actually start wearing masks in full force(without threatening employees who kindly ask them to follow the rules)i doubt we'll be ready anytime soon

it's a combination of idiocy and covid fatigue....at this point i know some people would rather risk being infected and drinking at a bar than staying indoors any longer

no but items like fishing poles shovels and bug catching nets have durability which causes them to eventually break apart so you must buy a new one or craft one
