MHA(S5)OVA[S]:HLB/Smile as if you are in hell*spoilers*
CountFrylock posted a topic in Anime & Manga
both were uploaded yesterday to crunchyroll/funimation(sub and english dub) i watched both and honestly the baseball one just sucked The Second one was better but only because it felt like an episode of mha instead of whatever the hell HLB was -

weird how long this takes to be uploaded on hbomax(it's almost 7:00 AM and still episode five isn't on there) anyways the snake episode and the rake sports episode were...a bit too random so far I'm preferring season 2's content to this honestly -
The recent author comment from Kohei Horikoshi(MHA)is troubling

if they air season two without the movie nobody will have any idea what's even going on and quickly lose interest the movie isn't optional it's a 100% requirement for watching season two.... there's no episodic version of the movie in Season two so unfortunately there's no easy solution for them in regards to Made in Abyss season two honestly if the movie wasn't so essential to the series we wouldn't be having this discussion but alas it is

no word on if episodes will be uploaded to hbomax the next day but i think that's obvious(It'd be weird if they didn't) -
adultswim has canned three busy debra's
CountFrylock replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
this was the first adultswim series to have new episodes debut on hbomax the day after it's original premiere makes me wonder how tuca and bertie's hbomax numbers are -
that leaves the eric andre show as the only live action series remaining

an example of this is IFC(which used to be known as the independent film channel)now just airs crap like marathons of everybody loves raymond or VH1 airing reruns of fresh prince of bel-air and martin(starring martin lawrence) so many channels that have turned to crap and restored to airing bargain bin reruns that don't fit what the channel's theme was originally about -

not even close which is why i think it sucks that so many companies are acting that way and doing everything they can to just kill television asap by making the linear channel nothing more than a repetitive marathon everyday so that people are forced to subscribe for even the smallest bit of variety.... the only reason tv sucks now is because they want it to suck so that people are compelled to subscribe for a streaming service look at any schedule for any network and It'll drive you nuts how repetitive it is -

even today I Don't really give Hulu much of a thought.... it's cable but without being cable and has some originals tied to it however that's not the reason anyone uses it -

he really does because the sentai catalogue alone isn't gonna be enough to perform in a way that would impress The Discovery bosses enough that they wouldn't interfere ps.had someone tell me "why do you care?...TV Stopped Being relevant 10 years ago! it's been dead since then" -

10 years ago anime streaming was nowhere near the powerhouse it is today with everyone clamoring to get a piece of the pie Funimation had thought so little about streaming that they made a contract with toonami that they regret to this day(being unable to stream attack on titan episodes until toonami has aired it on television) and if you are gonna mention piracy(a lot of those websites are a bit too sketchy...some won't even let you view them if you are using an ad-blocker)
