where does that one week without toonami make sense when there's two marathons? (seriously though one week without toonami? even if i tuned out for DB Super Marathon there's still 2 weeks without new content) it might as well be no toonami when you have boring recruitment episodes for DB Super as a marathon and then a marathon for a show that doesn't have enough episodes for a marathon....

it's three weeks without toonami...

aren't the episodes included in that marathon pretty crap though all things considered? if that thing got the highest rating in months then it would seem that even A DBZ Marathon with little to no fighting(which defeats the purpose of a DBZ Marathon...the fight)is seen as amazing by the fans

i said again unless you live in a big city...small towns new year isn't really that big of a deal it's insane to assume people go out traveling in droves on new year's eve when at most it's just going to a bar getting hammered and then crashing on the couch back home most people don't just go to new year's parties or even have them around

and with the advent of streaming services, you can't really say nobody watches anything on the holidays....it's pretty stupid to assume nobody uses their electronic devices around the holidays and just gathers around the family telling stories all this does is hurt the lineup in the long run.....how do you think fans will feel having to wait 3 weeks just for another episode of their toonami shows?

how is it not that a big of a deal to have the momentum of your newest show thrown out of wack and then pushed back when it returns? especially when the adultswim sunday lineup could air new content the very next night with no need for reruns or a marathon

if they are so intent on having 2 marathons that month because it disrupts that show's momentum and that momentum cannot easily be recovered... if they continue to do this then they gotta at least remove the new year's marathon because unless you live in a big city new years is nothing more than sitting at home and drinking while watching the ball drop it's not really worth putting a halt to the schedule

what's the explanatio for a new years marathon though

but we get this crazy long set up as a marathon....haven't felt this annoyed about a marathon since that one piece marathon where it was simply Post Ennies lobby filler trash

but picking episodes with little to no fights in a show that's all about fights is like really stupid

yeah but i mean did demarco even know that dozens of filler episodes would be involved when he made naruto prime time? seems like it was a waste to move it up with all of the episodes being filler trash

seriously? this is what we get before 2 weeks of marathons and it returning to a crap time-slot does demarco even know what state naruto's gonna be in when he bumps it up to prime time?

I'm gonna miss naruto coming on at a reasonable time....

seems like demarco and crew are too afraid of taking any kind of risk that they'll just grab whatever's popular at the moment and shove it in... that fear will hurt them in the long run....

what do old folks like? that's what they gotta ask themselves because it isn't young people who are apart of the nielsen system most of the time

because we use an outdated format....also the fact that Americans can't seem to accept that other animes besides DBZ And Naruto exist is a big problem that'd be like thinking fortnite and call of duty are the only games that exist....and we see what fortnite has done to the mainstream media(fortnite monopoly anyone?) DBZ Can get a full-fledged fighting game but everything else just gets a low budget garbage video game that isn't even fit to be sold
