i wasn't living in here when hugo hit, but i'm from florida, so i kinda know the drill. my guess is, as far off as the storm is now, we'll have time to buy supplies if it changes direction. of course, i've been wrong before. once. i don't like to talk about that.

in my case, it would matter a bit. i'm extremely nearsighted. my point of focus is the tip of my own nose. without my contacts, anything further than a few feet is just an indecipherable blur so i wouldn't be able to tell where my line of sight actually stopped.
