Pretty sure that was during the shale oil boom when oil prices were through the roof. Since the price of oil has dropped, I doubt they’re growing that fast now. They were mostly booming in the energy sector even then. Doubt IT was a priority.

extremely quiet. (like, didn't talk) now i make my living talking to large groups of people. extremely christian (dad's a minister) now basically an agnostic with buddhist leanings. had shit taste in music. (favorite band was van halen... yeah.) currently it's a toss up between joy division and future islands. was deeply suspicious of others. basically didn't trust human nature... yeah, that part's only gotten worse with age.

i have several friends from GA and they all seem to feel the same way about it. having lived in florida and NC, i've spent a fair amount of time there and i have to say that whatever they're seeing, i don't see it. but to each their own. (except for savannah, which i'll admit, is a cool town)
