Last year they brought in some guy and tried to make him our supervisor but he immediately clashed with pretty much everyone so that didn't last long. We were all happy when he left. My one coworker has already dubbed the new lady "The New Jonathan". Also something I just realized is that lady that was asked to move from "the new lady's desk" is the only black person on our team. Not a good look tbh.

I'm not getting fired but this new lady might be. Oh I forgot to mention this new lady isn't our supervisor and has been told as much. But she's trying to act like she is. So there's this office we use where we have our team meetings or go to do notes and stuff during downtime. We all just sit wherever because it's not kindergarten there are no assigned seats. Well this new lady has decided that one of the desks there is HER desk. I guess this morning 2 of my other coworkers were in the office and one of them was at this desk. New lady comes in and at first says nothing just stands there and stares at the person sitting at the desk. Then she asks her to move. Now the woman that was asked to move is one of those people that you just don't fuck with like that. She's great at her job and does great for our clients but you get on her bad side you stay there.

I'm just stuck in the middle of some workplace drama. The new lady on our team rubbed some people the wrong way so now my one coworker came to me today and said that "none of us are talking to her" and I'm just like OKAY WHATEVER.

So we finally got 2 new therapists on our team to replace the 2 that left the past 2 months. But I don't know if either one is gonna last. The one guy is supposedly supposed to be a full member of our team already but he hasn't been at any of our meetings or anything yet and I've only seen him like twice even though he's been part of the team for like a week. And the other lady. First of all she's a total boomer who couldn't figure out how to expand a picture on her phone. Also according to my other coworker this lady was talking shit about us to the other team. Complaining about how "no one is helping her" and some shit. But she hasn't said anything to us about having a problem and we've been trying to help her. What annoys me is I sent her some phone numbers for people when she first started and then like 2 days later she asked us for all those same numbers again (after calling the numbers in the computer system that we told her were wrong). So now my coworker says none of us are talking to her. FUN.

You know I was just about to make another work related thread of my own since it's been awhile but was like "nah no one cares". You've inspired me to make that thread after all.

Nobody really cares here since we're supposed to be out in the community most of the time anyway. We have meetings Mondays and Wednesdays but even those if you just shoot a text saying, "Hey won't be at meeting today I'm sick/I'm with a client doing something important/roads are bad/whatever" no one's gonna look into it. Then Tuesdays and Thursdays we need to be around to bring people in for the psychiatrist. I could probably just go in for the meetings and stick around for psych transports and literally nothing else and no one on the team would notice. My supervisor would eventually notice when my productivity was really low but even that would take a week or so probably.

Cool u don't have to wear pants I remember my first job out of college where we actually had to clock in and out on our phones and they actually tracked where you were when you did so you'd better not do it at home (or really anywhere but the office because it had a tendency to show the wrong location and my manager had it out for me so I wasn't about to get in trouble). Shit sucked. My timesheet's already all filled out and submitted for the last 2 weeks.

He actually left it alone for the most part after the initial "what is this thing" inspection after we first put it up

I mean part of my motivation is knowing people are coming over next month and I had the motivation to do it now so I figured just get it done with now so I don't put it off until the last minute

I mean I'm fairly happy with my job but I still think about leaving sometimes. I guess the only thing I'd change is the whole "you must meet minimum productivity even if you take vacation or have a sick day thing". Other than that it's alright I guess. I want to stay for awhile since they started matching more of our 401k but I have to stay for 5 years to be 100% vested. I doubt I'll stay here THAT long but every year is another 20% I'm vested

That's a bit much. Last year I avoided taking my tree down (which was only a 3 foot tabletop tree) until like late February but I think I stopped plugging it in after like mid January.
