Problem with Dum Dums - choking hazard. Had it happen in one of the stores I managed at. Tried to convince the parents to wait for the paramedics after an EMT trainee got the thing out of the kid's throat, but they wanted to leave the store in a rush. My guess was they were afraid that the kid had shoplifted the sucker & thought I was going to call the cops over a stupid piece of candy. As it was, I think the kid learned his lesson.
