  1. Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, riding through the land. Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, without a merry band. He steals from the poor and he gives to the rich. Stupid bitch! Dennis: What was that? Singers: We sang: "He steals from the poor and he gives to the rich." Dennis: Wait a tic...blimey, this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought.
  2. To know that, I'd have to have seen every tv show ever created.
  3. One of the recent (maybe in Canada) wildfires was reported to have been started by a defective or damaged catalytic convertor. Meanwhile...
  4. So you take off your headphones so he can hear that you're listening to Handel's "Messiah".
  5. Yeah, Resurrected posted it right after I replied to another post.
  6. "Hey good lurking, we'll be back to pick you up later!"

National Black Cat Appreciation Day today.
  8. Condolences to Disco & Resurrected on their loss today.
  9. They're a lot shorter up close.
  10. Maybe you should read it slowly - "They and the Japanese", indicating that the Chinese and Japanese were buying properties in Chicago. Just gotta look for problems where there aren't any, right?
  11. A few years ago, they & the Japanese were buying buildings in Chicago. I think it's just a phase they go through every so often.
  12. I guess you could study Leona Helmsley's life.
  13. Double Whammy for the Hawks, with Troy Murray announcing he is fighting cancer yesterday and Tony passing of Pancreatic Cancer. https://committedindians.com/blackhawks-mourn-tony-esposito/?fbclid=IwAR3gfdHfxg8w4nN-tvxD4p06wkYkNn16K1-o3jKJg6WiYkweH_aKpGX8Doc
  14. Hasn't that been overplayed already? They're a dime-a-dozen.
  15. As if the indigenous peoples of N.A. are the only people in the world with innate survival skills.
  16. It's the oblivious nature of people. One of the first tasks my Dad gave me when he managed a Dime Store was to paint the rusting metal entry doors to the store. The doors were in pairs & I had to prop each open to work on the interior portion. Instead of opening the other door, or going the 45' to the other entry, people stepped over me to get in that open door. I think I might have even gotten some dirty looks because I was blocking the easier access. Ditto when we were closed for inventory - big signs on the doors & windows stating the same. People rattling the doors to get in, despite the sign right in front of their faces, then moving to the next door and trying it.
