  3. Gov. was told he could only have a 30 day extension, then he'd have to get the Legislature involved. He has since extended it beyond the 30 days without involving the Legislature.
  4. Prior to becoming governor, it came out that he'd had all the toilets pulled out of one of his mansions (during a rehab) before having the tax assessment done. The house was deemed "uninhabitable" and the taxes were lowered around $350K (paid after it was caught). After the assessment, at least one of the toilets were replaced so they could live there. It's being re-investigated now, due to things going on with Speaker of the Illinois House Mike Madigan. And there's more stuff like this coming out of the woodwork - https://www.wbez.org/stories/gov-pritzker-defends-appointee-with-family-ties-to-key-figure-in-comed-scandal/e951611f-dce9-4d1a-975c-f6d477a21221
  5. Sorry if you're butthurt.
  6. Guess I just have higher standards.
  7. I'd question the mental capacity of any female that would listen to that crap.
  8. More like our billionaire governor is a jerk & used to getting his way.
  9. I'm explaining to my Mom today about this band (that I never liked) tour bus that dumped their septic tank as they passed over a bridge in Chicago. I couldn't remember what band, so I looked it up. It was Dave Matthews Band - and today is the 16th anniversary of when it happened (8/8/2004). I didn't know that when I brought it up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Dave_Matthews_Band_Chicago_River_incident
  10. Governor ordered to appear before a downstate Judge. https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/chicago-politics/judge-orders-pritzker-to-appear-in-court-amid-contempt-accusations-report/2318710/
  11. I'm betting on random Chinese seeds.

  13. Which is why mine will be filled first.
  14. Jojo's was a restaurant chain in the 70s. A slightly upscale Denny's/Golden Bear type place (I think they had a bar) that usually had a large bubble window in the lobby. I don't remember them tying in with the potato wedges, so the name probably didn't derive from them.
  15. The Pirate Roberts.
  16. Not statewide, but "Beer Nuggets" (deep fried, slightly sweetened pizza dough nuggets served with marinara). Lived off them in college. Others have tried to emulate them, but they miss the mark set by Pizza Inn.
