  1. Like scoob said, I'd go with the leak detection company first. If that doesn't pan out, call the second guy and find out if you take out the wall yourself, will he only charge for the call. I don't know if you live in a two story or a single story home. For obvious reasons, if you were in a two story home, it would be rather easy to detect. But my guess is, if the water you have seen is isolated, the leaky pipe should be near by the wet spot. Of course, if the base boards are wet all around, that's where your detection company would be more useful. These things can get pricey, so beware. Don't let anyone scam you. Ask for their credentials, and ask for their references. If they can't provide those things, show them to the door.
  2. Keep us posted on what the plumber tells you.
  3. I am Bayek of Siwa. - Bayek of Siwa.
  4. I'd turn the water off altogether. Turning off the hot water heater is just turning off hot water. If it's leaking around the base boards, it sounds like you've got a busted pipe in the walls. I'd shut it all off. Fill up the tub with water for flushing the toilet, and bottle some up. Then shut it off.
  5. I shall keep that in mind when I venture to the book store again. We have a mini-library in our home. Varying subject matter, as we all have different preferences in our house. I read lots of books on local history and folklore. Paranormal books. Then, sometimes, I just want a classic. I enjoyed Dracula. I am a Verne fan. I have all of his works. Poe is always a go to. I m quite fond of Kipling. I have several books by Marx. Orwell. Wilde. Irving. However, I am not a fan of Shakespeare.
  6. I am certainly hoping for the best. It would be tremendous for this all to work out for you. Writing, and writing well, is a very reputable quality. I enjoy reading very much. Haven't read much lately, but I enjoy it when I have time. I cannot write. I have zero creativity, but I do enjoy reading other people's creativeness. I enjoy the classics. Mostly. I mean, one of the most anticipated books for me was The House of The Seven Gables. I was researching Nathaniel Hawthorne, just for the fun of it, and to gain some knowledge in my spare time, and I ran right out and bought the book. I am not going to lie, I couldn't finish it. I need to give it another shot, but at that particular time, I couldn't get into it. I digress. I hope it all comes to fruition for you!!
  7. I'll bet your coworker could kick your ass.
  8. I am sorry your throat is sore. It seems to be going around. I hope your short stories do very well!!
  9. Oh my God, not again. I have worms!. -Nabs.
  10. It was mine. Go tell her you had someone claim it. I called in to report it and you spoke with me and I asked for you personally to mail it back, or I'm going to file a complaint. Then you pocket it.
  11. 100 will usually hold us for month. If we aren't wasteful as well.
  12. Get that checked out.
  13. I will gladly read your long replies, my friend. I mean, we share food likes. We're like bff's, along with Mini.
  14. I belong to two groups on facebook. Both of which I created. One is a cooking group and the other is for people I knew on MySpace, way back when. I only ever venture to the cooking one.
  15. I don't see the story.
  16. I couldn't resist.
  17. Yeah. Bill's BBQ and titties shack.
  18. I spent the same amount today. On weed and bbq. And sweet tea.
  19. When I worked in grocery, I called out whenever I fucking didn't want to go in. A perk of being the boss. But usually only a few times a year. However, I was working for a company that was a 2 hour drive one way. It was prohibited for one person to be on duty overnight. My stocker had called out, and I got almost all the way there and got a phone call saying not to come in. After that night, I called out a few times just to be a dick.
  20. Shit. Thanks. I did not know that. I will download it today.
  21. I didn't know Fortnite was free. I wanna play it, but can't find it anywhere. I have Xbox, and I'm sure it's on the Xbox store, but Walmart doesn't have it.
  22. I don't get it.
  23. Boohags are widely believed to be real in the Gullah culture. Which is pretty big around here.
