i honestly havent ever heard of a crock pot starting a fire....i mean mine is old as fuck so i dont trust it....but the newer ones have fail safes...

yeah i love pot roast....and i have this big ass one in the fridge that will fit in my crock pot....but it doesnt leave much room for all my accouterments...cause i can make mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and caramelized onions....but it tastes so much fucking better when you cook it with the meat

i remember when i was a kid my grandma would be making burgers or something and my cousin and i would grab a little bit of the raw ground meat, put some salt on it then eat it...then that stopped when my cousin got e-coli and almost died...
