Well part of the value in it to me is applecare+ and the loss and theft for only $4 more. So then I don't have to worry when I travel w/it. Buying it w/o insurance seems like more of a liability not less.

I've been using cheap LG phones for awhile and my service is only $35/month. I feel u. I make it work, but I need to have a mega phone again.
