The Discotek suggestions are welcome, but you'd have to go through the Japanese rights holders to get a broadcast license, since Discotek only ever bothers with the home video licenses. I imagine that was the beginning of us going through TMS to grab the new Lupin seasons. (Part of me's hoping they go through TMS to grab the broadcast rights for Dr. Stone season 3 when it drops, unless those are in TOHO's wheelhouse.) I think it was episode 7 of season 1 of GITS:SAC that had the quality issue. "MEME" was perfectly fine, from what I recall. I had another one for Blatch, but that was a different thread. Nothing screams "BASED" louder than Assassination Classroom turning Nagisa's gender ambiguity into a Funny Aneurysm Moment, then continuing to crack jokes about it. Yusei Matsui gives no fucks.

Replacing Kanon will be the long-overdue SK8 the Infinity, which may or may not feature a stand-alone clip (with the [as] logo mock-up that is my Twitter handle) highlighting the show's most infamous dub line, though that depends on whether or not you find the acknowledged existence of X-genders worthy of controversy. As for Stone Ocean's ringer, I'll refrain from sharing its explicit identity for the moment, but know this will be a re-rate of a series I gave [as]-flavored content ratings to in the past despite being officially confirmed as too much for Turner S&P to handle week-to-week, and that it is also one of the two shows referenced in the below meme. Personally I'd want something I wouldn't have possibly expected, which after the FUNiRoll merger could be anything. But I'll go with my surefire conjecture of either Yashahime S2 or Food Wars S5, because those are the most realistic choices based on our current options.

Naruto Shippuden 390 Kanon 2006 24 Sometimes the best endings come about from being put through the wringer. And really, this one feels very much earned. 9.5/10.

A little foolish if you ask me. Didn't they say once or twice that regularly broadcast subs would kill ratings? The only way they can get away with that on the regular is if the episodes are 15 minutes each tops. And on further introspection, I don't really mind the existence of the Rick & Morty anime anymore and am looking forward to it. The idea of innocent family members getting slaughtered in the opening minutes, meanwhile, has tempered my expectations for Ninja Kamui considerably.

I look forward to Ninja Kamui. The R&M anime on the other hand... [inhales] I'd much rather have preferred they got Tower of God. But hey, Crunchyroll gotta Crunchyroll because apparently getting word about their shows out through linear channels is below them.

You still think graphic violence is that much of a concern to Turner S&P? We managed to air Hellsing Ultimate, for fuck's sake, I doubt Chainsaw Man's adaptation will be as explicit with its violence, especially with it being the exact opposite of an OVA. Unless you're talking about the weirdly sexual stuff, in which case I totally understand.
