Either that or they don't realize the whole "voice actor replacement" thing was confirmed for Japan only because the powers that be didn't specify that detail.

My guess is they had a new show for next week, but it got subject to some sort of delay, and they didn't have time to re-record last night's intro. No doubt it's happened before.

I think they mean the Japanese voice cast, but yeah, recasting Vash in English is bound to end with someone at Crunchyroll seriously injured.

The dub VA for Vash? No fucking way. Meryl, Milly and Wolfwood? They could always tap the Badlands Rumble VAs for them. As for the rest? Yeah, that's pretty much a near-definite.

Shippuden's over eight years due for a marathon, if not for the fact that we're back in Filler Hell, I'd say run reruns of it for one night!

I just found out my family has an HBO Max account (came with the change in their cable from Spectrum to WOW!), and the next episode of Kinky Kunoichi: Nagoya File I'm set to actually do writing for is hypothetically attributed to the Scavengers duo, so this is very good news indeed. A Toonami broadcast would be welcome as well.

As someone who doesn't read comics, I feel nothing in regards to this. At least they had the sense to add "fun" before "side-hustle", even if they lacked the foresight to know everyone would ignore the former in favor of focusing on the latter. Or the common sense that self-deprecating humor isn't for everyone. [cuz anime is teh s uck]

Lazzo requested a darker tone, and Dino gave it to him. It was less a case of being "not funny" and more one of being "too bleak".

I'd argue Kirby's hit harder, since it was completely unprecedented upon its announcement. At least with Billy, we knew the cause and its severity ahead of time, which prepared us for the worst-case outcome. No less tragic, but still, somewhat of a cushion. I'm still a good decade away from the recommended age, but if this compound/chemical behind these early age colon cancer deaths really is out there, I might want to think about getting a five to ten year head start. Family history don't lie.
