I saw footage of that Wendy's at 10 last night, and it didn't look like it was on fire to me then. They said it was on fire, but the only things I saw aflame were the bushes and trees on the restaurant's property. And if it was on fire inside, it looked like the lights were just on. Considering it was done by a prominent sakuga artist whose opening animation for Eureka seveN's third cour incurred so much backlash on the Japanese side he had to do sakuga for a later episode uncredited, yeah I can understand how it could be viewed that way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Toonami never aired Shaman King, even though it would've fit the block pretty well even in its 4Kids variation.

The most telling thing about these storyboards is the fact that I.G's actually gonna be outsourcing the animation to someone else entirely.

I've got one, but it's an SAO genderbender drawn by an artist infamous for drawing commissions of pretty much anything, so I don't think she'll want that.

That's the point I was trying to get across. Dub acting may involve just reading the lines, but with all the work that goes into mixing the dialogue in with the SFX tracks and making sure the final product is at the desired level of acceptability, one can't just go thinking the dubbing is done at the tail end of everything.

I just think Elfie's so stupid he believes recording the voices is all there is to being a dub actor.
