You may be right. I’m trying to be optimistic. And it’s telling THIS is what passes for optimism, having a Heritage Foundation isolationist who at least has his temper in check and sees the value in modernized electric grids and shit. A low, LOW bar everyone.

How much of that is trying to placate Trump and Putin? I’m grasping for straws here. I think a lot of the current policy was pushed by Trump ass-kissing, and with him out of the way, things won’t look the same.

I’m fully expecting Trump to concede to the 25th amendment in exchange for a full pardon. A Dem controlled House probably accepts it just to be done with the orange man.

Fuck my life. Only thing I can really say is I hope that every department of the federal government Trump-proofs itself as much as possible. Also this is the guy you trust to do what? Lower grocery prices? Put titties back in video games? What? My only real hope at this point is Trump comes in, to say he could win, then Vance 25ths him, which will at least save us from the worst of the foreign policy screw ups. I don’t trust Vance with much of anything, but I do kind of hope he does not want to screw over Europe.
