  1. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/10/29/funimation-announces-first-kabaneri-of-the-iron-fortress-english-dub-cast-members Kabeneri would be a decent Toonami pickup as well. Amazingly, still no Re Zero or Konosuba dub announced.
  2. SLAY HIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
  3. Yeah he's not considering it, we talked about how Netflix somehow ended up getting that improbable hit on another thread. But has he watched it? Or any of those shows? He's never going to be able to air Seven Deadly Sins, but did he watch it? Does he watch anything new? MHA? Mob Psycho? That's my question.
  4. Naruto is hot garbage, it just beat the 2 shows before it and hit 116 percent retention. Sometimes garbage brings in good ratings which allows you to have a bigger budget and not get cancelled. Both positive things. I don't know enough about Demarco to say for sure.... but it seems to me like he's a general fan of really old anime. Like Gundam. Doesn't seem like he's that up to date on anything current unless it's buzzing around his twitter feed. Other shows that get aired like Casshern Sins, GXP, and TG should be avoided simply by him asking around the office... "Hey did anyone see any of these? Oh you did? They all suck? K I won't air them then, thanks" I just don't buy that there's any form of quality control going on over there. What new shows has Demarco actually watched? Does he ever mention Re Zero, Tanya, Overlord, Gate, Made in Abyss, No Game No Life, Assassination Classroom, Danmachi, Kakegurui... anything like that?
  5. Pretty sure MHA isn't happening =P Fairytail is from 2009, doubt its happening at this point. And yeah Toonami will continue to miss the boat on stuff like Kakegurui and MHA because the guy running Toonami either has shitty taste or no money to get anything new and popular. Overlord, GATE, and Tanya the Evil would all be great for Toonami but it doesn't look like any of them are on their radar.
  6. They went with that look for injustice.
  7. 2.9 trillion =P And it's not just lately, Hollywood is run by idiots, always has been. The entire industry produces maybe 2 good movies a year. They can't adapt anything except comic books. They fail at video games and anime. I mean, they tried to make Super Mario Bro's into a movie. The entire plot of the game is "Mario has to rescue the princess" and that's what they pick to make into a movie? Not Zelda? Or Halo? Half life? I was a huge Wing Commander fan and boy did they fuck that up. Bloodrayne, Ghost in the Shell, Assassins Creed, Dragonball Evolution, Hitman, Max Payne, Warcraft.... the industry just sucks at doing anything right.
  8. Elfie you just want Esdeath to put you on a leash like Tatsumi.
  9. Pierrot also made Tokyo Ghoul, a horrible adaptation of a popular manga. They're currently making Black Clover, which was also a popular manga. It's currently rocking a 2.8 out of 5 on crunchyroll, and crunchyroll has incredibly generous rankings. Super got a 4.2. Shippuden a 4.7. They suck.
  10. Lol Family guy barely broke a million? Good retention for Super? Naruto hits 116 percent? Weird week.
  11. No it's quite heterosexual. You've obviously been misinformed.
  12. Oh wow just noticed that not only did Naruto beat Lupin, it beat HxH... and only lost to IBO by 16k. You could actually improve Toonami's numbers by giving IBO's spot to Naruto.
  13. Toonami may be floundering but the anime industry is doin just fine http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/10/24/anime-industry-income-hits-29-trillion-yen-milestone
  14. The same reason TG is getting a third season. There's a staggering amount of people out there with really awful taste. They weren't even sick of Naruto after 700 episodes so they had to make Boruto to keep them happy.
  15. 81 percent for Jojo.. lets call that a win! 67 percent for outlaw star... that's the lowest number I've ever seen. Has anything ever gone lower?
  16. Are you asking for a friend?
  17. Are both getting new seasons http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/10/21-1/date-a-live-new-anime-series-confirmed-to-be-in-the-works http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/10/21/tv-anime-high-school-dxd-hero-teaser-visual-1st-pv-revealed-for-2018-premiere Because boobs
  18. Toriyama can't even remember that SS2 was a thing. I'm 99 percent sure the guy has early onset Alzheimer's. DBZ has a lot of great moments though so we forgive it for sucking at times. Actually Toriyama had a built in failsafe to keep some form of stakes in the DBZ universe. The rule was you could only be revived once by the dragonballs. Then he completely threw that away and added an entirely new set of wish balls that could revive anyone an infinite number of times. If that wasn't enough, King Yemma can just let the dead visit the Earth any time he feels like. Don't even need to be alive.
  19. Aside from the fact that he sucks at writing, the thing that pisses me off is he completely abandoned his own franchise after DBZ, which is why GT and Super are so bad. Come on Toriyama its a legendary franchise, you got something better to do? He was at least creative and made DBZ what it was. The other things are.. Dragonball overuse. Ridiculous power scaling. With a power level of about 100.... Roshi was able to blow up the moon. How does that make any sense? Evil characters like Vegeta commit mass genocide and then never have to answer for it. Completely forgetting that old characters exist.
  20. Well.... they could give HxH Gundam's spot. Continuing to lose an assload of viewers after losing 20- 25 percent from Jojo has gotta stop, and we know Gundam isn't going to stop this. They should move Lupin to the back of the block, that show has been a ratings disaster. Naruto should probably take its spot. Oh and cancel Super. Are we seriously going to do this with Super for 3 years?
  21. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but it's popular. People like it. Oh and the original point is... Crunchyroll has a wide selection of popular and unpopular anime. Anyone should be able to find something they like on there.
  22. 1.3 mil for family guy? Way higher than normal. A laughable 70 percent retention for Super. Wonder if it can break into the 60's? So between Super, Jojo, and IBO Toonami loses 70 percent of it's viewers. Nice.
