With Rave Master.. it's a lot more apparent. One Piece is just totally visually unappealing to me while Fairytail looks good. So when people say they look similar I'm just like.... ehhhh sure. Luffy's look alone is so unappealing that I never gave the show a chance. The 10 inch waist 40 inch boobed girls on One Piece didn't help matters any either.

Also, One Piece has one of the main characters looking like this. And the body design for the women is just weird and anorexic looking. It's fair to say that early Mashima was inspired by One Piece but he definitely improved on the designs as time went on.

I'm not buying that this is a one season show. I think they're gonna hit us with a cliffhanger ending and then tease a S2 that will never come since the show didn't do well enough.

How in the hell do you get fat in a post apocalyptic world? Does junk food even exist? Ok so spoiler but not really since S3 is probably never coming.... but supposedly he knew what was going on all along. This is according to the source material readers, not sure if they're right or not. Oh yeah, forgot to mention Haganai and Heaven's lost property. Those are must see harem anime right there They're hilarious.

Yeah it's pretty rare to find someone who doesn't like Toradora, unless they just hate slice of life. Toradora and Pet girl of Sakurasou are basically as good as it gets for Slice of life. Or you could just watch....

Hmm nothin much goin on here, so I'll throw out another show for Toonami... not SAO S3... not Gun Gale alternative but... SAO REBOOT! SAO Progressive

DBZ never really had the tightest of plots and it had a lot of asspulls and retconning.... but are you watching Super? This is just over the top. Like the thing with Trunks... DBZ would never have a character suddenly jump 3 Super Saiyan levels randomly. He was SS2 in this show and suddenly became more powerful than SS3, Mystic Gohan, Gotenks, Vegito, and SSG. It's beyond the ridiculousness of the original show. It's just too much.

Yeah I mean there's so much stuff I can't even list it all. Also how many times have they used their laser sword ability to impale people, yet somehow always avoiding the heart or ya know, just cutting their heads off with it? The time machine gets blown up... but only slightly! So Bulma can fix it with the garage she just happened to bring with her. And wait until you see the ending. This entire arc is just a case study on the writers not giving a fuck.

I was actually thinking it was planning to go the Evangelion/ Big O route. Where they never explain anything and just throw a bunch of shit at the wall at the end and we're just like.... wut? I'm realllllly hoping they do better. Or this gets a second season so they can take their time.

I don't think I'm too hard on it, it's pretty bad. Take this latest episode. This is what, the 3rd or 4th time they've traveled back into the past after getting beaten? There was a plotline with them trying to kill Goku Black... with a bullet. Come on. Trunks bullshit powerup when he was only SS2 to suddenly jumping past SSG. Vegeta's bullshit powerup by using the time chamber for the 953453th time. I mean they even set a limit on how many times you could use it because they knew it would be ridiculous for them to be able to keep spamming time chamber training... then they removed the limit. When they use the Time Machine why don't they just return to the exact second they left? It's a time machine. The fights are still mediocre and poorly animated. What was Zamasu's plan again? To kill every mortal on Earth one at a time? It's kind of a big Universe and it's taking them a long time to squash one planet. Super Buu wiped out humanity in about 30 seconds with way less power. It's just so bad on so many levels. Not just the regular bad that we've come to expect from DB, it's exceptionally bad.

It only had a tiny fraction of energy from living things, as opposed to the Earth spirit bomb which had almost their entire life force.

Plus, their world is in no way similar to ours. There's no way they have that many people on a planet with dinosaurs still roaming the Earth.

It's still complete crap, but compared to the crap that came before it... it actually starts making people think that hey... this isn't half bad. I will freely admit this is way better than anything this show has put out so far. But don't be fooled by your lowered expectations. Just think, in less than a year you'll actually get to watch Super's one good arc!

So 17 episodes in, and we still really have no idea what the fuck is going on. So apparently the "leaders" always knew about the Klaxosaur princess. Are the leaders Robots or aliens? Is it possible they're aliens and they refer to the kids as parasites because they saw ALL human beings as parasites that were destroying their world, then intervened and outlawed reproduction which led to humanity's decline? Is that why most of the remaining humans spend their time in some sort of virtual world? Hiro grew some horns, and it seems like they confirmed that cloning is indeed going on when they referred to "getting another Nana." If this is really just a 24 episode anime then the fact that we don't know any of this stuff by this point is pretty ridiculous.

And then they do the EXACT same thing in GT. Except this time... it's energy from the entire Universe! DB writing is bad and will always be bad.

Did anyone else notice the split second Uraraka cameo?

Well a couple things happened in episode 17, but they're still slow walking this plot.
