another town, and one more show

i play AC. love the game. love the concept (etc) this movie...well, ok. since i do play, i was disappointed that there wasn't more of a back story on our hero. all we know is he killed a pimp. however, the story line of where the AC take place would actually make for an interesting game. i was saying to the hubby, that i would love to see the franchise bring this story of the templars and the assassins a bit more into present day, using the cold war, and the like in the mix. maybe the next AC will incorporate this idea? maybe a new game? anyway, the fx were pretty damn good. but having our hero 'cal' hooked into something out 'dune' as the animus was...amusing. i suppose having him in an animus like the game would have been too much like 'avatar'? either way. eh... 5/10

i read the book in 3 days. i was excited when the mini series came on, which followed the book pretty closely (rare thing for king adaptations.) the new IT movie was a fun ride. some bits were a little unnerving, but all in all a good movie. i was a little disappointed they didn't show what actually happened to henry bowers. probably in the 2nd part.

no. it's not that completely. the city itself is beautiful. but it cares nothing about it's residents. the people that make the tourists stay more enjoyable. the corruption in that town is...shameful.

except late july and august. your skin melts off your body because of the 'dog days' and what area of GA do you miss? i like augusta. i don't really care about savannah. n. georgia is beautiful.
