thank you. funny thing...an hour after i got the call to come in today (maybe that will be a boost in my favor) i got a call from the 'corner store' to come in ~ i'm not going to call back until after the 4th. i'd rather not work some random p/t schedule for min. wage, if i don't have to. i also have an application to fill out for the city. but that's only 20 hours.

ok, so i don't even understand this post, or the post in naraku's post. in that thread, you said you got 'offered' your same job. so which is it?

it's funny, because i thought i was applying for data entry, ar/ap. but it appears it will be a lot more than that. it's a locally owned tire/mechanic shop. just bought 7 months ago. the owner wants to bring it more into the 'new age'. apparently it seems to be bleeding money, so i'll be re~doing books, helping the owner with the current employees (value of each) and who can go. marketing (?) and p.r. (?) basically an office manager/book keeper/girl friday. IF i get this, it would be the 2nd job that was 'created' i low balled my wage, because i'm not going to toot my own horn. i said 'if you hire me, i'd like 30 days, then we can re~negotiate my salary' i mean...let's face it, it's been a while since i've played with spread sheets. but i'm good. so....wish me luck. it would be 8~5 m-f, and would allow me to get my new car before end of year. and pay off some of my debt.
