  1. After tasering them into position in the boobenwraps, I only have to grab at them if they are trying to make an escape. NO JAIL BREAKS ALLOWED!
  2. I'm outta Tylenol. You holdin' ?
  3. Well, at least you had enough control to spit it, right? Instead of being the complete human version of a dribble glass?
  4. It snowed a little around here too. Spare some clam chowder? Chicken chowder is gross.
  5. Welcome to the wonderful world of soup?
  6. Yeah, I guess I'm not the 'super fan / obsessive' that you might be aiming for because I do watch a lot of different things. The only steady anime I have is Toonami on Saturdays and CrunchyRoll for the occasional subtitled binge. My anime DVD collection isn't exactly huge either. But the one thing I can say that anime, to me, has over live action is the amount of work that can go into an anime. It's lines on paper in the end and it takes a lot of work and attention to detail to make those lines move and tell the story as written. A floating cherry blossom is rendered carefully, not tossed in front of a fan. Something is transformed and not just CGI'd. I like to step away from reality when being entertained. Anime definitely encourages that.
  7. Why I Watch The Animes : I find myself fascinated by the animes because it has so many different 'types' from the usual action adventures to slice-of-life to abnormal comedies, etc. etc. The artwork can also vary greatly depending on who the artist is so I'm usually able to find something to fit whatever mood I'm in. And, depending on which anime I'm watching, I can be moved to do stuff myself. Examples would be something slice-of-life that includes cleaning sequences of any sort since I usually end up cleaning something and some, like 'Flying Witch' actually have cooking tips in them. There's also the cultural aspects of things where stuff is similar yet different or it has a particular meaning and sometimes finding out that meaning is it's own level of enjoyment. Summary, I'm a nerd and watch foreign cartoons because cartoons.
  8. I thrive at -30'F. I've taken trash out to the dumpster in shorts and a tank top in those temps. The heat in the apartment is kept at the minimum required for the pipes. And steadily moving air is better for the parakeets in the summer. Having a north-facing apartment, I don't deal with the direct southern summer sun. Nice try though.
  9. Bed warmer. Don't even ask.
  10. This looks like a job for the Chewbacca Defense!
  11. I've always preferred 'Needs Electrical Entertainments to Thrive' .
  12. ? I needed a cheap phone for travel because I mainly only use the cell for travel and emergencies. Personally, I don't take photos of everything I see, I don't need to play video games or watch videos on layovers, I just need a phone for calls and texts to coordinate things. My crappy little flip phone has lasted over 5 years now which is probably 5 years longer than anything you've had. Plus, you can supposedly upgrade to new phones and transfer your number and all your non-expiring minutes so suggesting that poof consider one isn't a cheapskate thing, it's merely a practical consideration if she isn't locked into a phone contract and can find a cheaper one that does all the things she needs it to do.
  13. I can't. -.-; My current kitty is a one kitty only kitty. I tried to get her a friend years ago and I still have the scar on my hand where I had to grab the new kitty to save it. Rak-rak would have killed her. No second kitty for me.
  14. I wouldn't mind it but I'm too busy being a responsible adult and having a job.
  15. Contrary to popular belief [and my own admitted desires] , I only have one cat. And she's currently draped over the back of the recliner watching over my shoulder as I type this with the biggest look of boredom a single cat is capable of making.
  16. Only over the internet. No out calls.
  17. I hope it got paid well for the smush video it was the obvious star of. Try a Tracphone? $29 max for the same thing that might have been. I still have my tiny little flip phone from years ago. Then again, I've never dropped it on a sidewalk, just dropped my wallet on it in the back pack.
  18. Dude...you've met enough IBers to know that the thought alone should cause hysterical blindness.
  19. Hey baby, let's watch the news in our respective areas and then go to bed in very separate beds.
  20. No deads allowed. The boards can't handle too many deads.
  21. Only fuggs keeps track of this non-issue because she still thinks 'virgin' is a cuss word.
  22. It can have 500+ people viewing it live some days. And yeah, it can be background noise sometimes but the fish are just so calming most of the time, you just get look away. My episode was 3+ years ago. There's no hope of that ever being revived again. But feel free to demand a working pilot of 'Cat President' with me as the official voice of the president cat.
  23. Yes, I'm joking. I was just thinking about how the airlines had to start cracking down on what is and isn't considered a therapy animal and just decided you might as well have therapy waifus since that wouldn't be any more ridiculous than someone claiming a peacock is needed in order to travel Delta.
  24. They are called Therapy Waifus.
  25. Are you trolling the pre-freshmen on college campuses again? Don't do that. They have enough issues being pre-frosh.
