As you know, my Samsung J7 has a busted LCD screen, so I have to get it fixed because my J7 has all of my apps on it and my # and contacts. I've been using a Tracfone that I bought from K-Mart last year that only has internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and isn't activated because I thought since it said AT&T on the box that I could just switch the sim card from my old phone (before the J7) into it. So after work yesterday, I went to the AT&T store nearby and found that I had to go to a Samsung walk-in center at a mall complex 5 miles away to get my J7 LCD fixed for $90. I walked a mile to a nearby bus stop through a foot of snow, got bus far change, and boarded a New York bound bus that would take me to the mall with the Samsung, then after 5 minutes he got the bus's rear wheels stuck in snow in the middle of an intersection. Help seemed about an hour and a half away, so I asked him how far a walk it'd be to the mall, and he BS'ed me and told me 35 minutes. I got off and trudged through a foot of snow for an hour and forty minutes in my Nike Max Airs with no scarf or earmuffs, walked 5 miles to the mall and the Samsung store was closed due to inclimate weather. I then got a personal pepperoni pan pizza from Pizza Hut inside the mall and at 8:10, I boarded a small bus downtown. That took nearly 2 and a half hours because of the nonmoving traffic. Got off at 10:30, stood waiting for the bus to get home from downtown for over 40 minutes when it was 40 feet away when I first got there, and then sat on that bus for over 2 hours, then traffic finally cleared around 1:30 am, got off the bus at 1:40, walked a mile to my house, and crashed at 2:05 in my bed. I didn't go to work today because my J7 has my Uber app and the buses I'd been taking for the past two days aren't running normally today, so I still need to get my J7 LCD fix. My only option would have been to take a taxi, which would have cost me $40+ for sure since I live 10 miles away from my job. The only thing I should have done was call them and explain things, but this shit will take forever to explain. I might have to explain on Monday, but yeah isn't this a crazy story? My jeans, socks, and Nikes from last night are inundated in cold water from all the snow I trudged through. I didn't get sick because I'm an alpha male. 🐰
