Have you ever started swimming and then felt something tap your feet? I've always been scared of some kind of octopus monster or something that looks like that really ugly thing from Metroid pulling me under and painfully devouring me.

This one's 20 per hour. It's only for two days though. I'm just hoping I don't mess anything up. I'll probably go against the grain since the groupthink among the other jurors will need to be questioned!

I don't know what the case is about. All the firm told me is that it's an "alternative dispute resolution". Wow that'd be so cool if it's a dating dispute! If the guy's anything like me, I'm picking him as not guilty!

Guess they liked meeeeeeee. <3 I didn't really interview for it, they just had a dire need for jurors. The pay is really nice for a two day assignment.

But I won't be on the UEMB for the next two days because I have a two-day juror assignment! :'( Have to work twelve hours a day for the next two days. I'm going to drink a lot, so that I can vote not guilty because the legal system is wack and everybody deserves a second chance.

Is that a good or bad thing? I honestly haven't seen American Psycho in at least a decade. Only scene I remember is when that one guy is in the stall doing drugs and he says something like, "I'm trying to do drugs here if the ASSHOLE right next to me doesn't mind!!!" and then he says "F--k YOU!!" or something and gets extremely aggressive because the coke lines are making him violent.

I know I come off like a tough guy online, but I'd be pretty scared. Provided I don't get killed suddenly and unexpectedly like almost all of the counselors in the movies, I'd find a nice hiding spot and hope he just goes away until the police come.

I hate that interviewers always raise an eyebrow when I talk about quitting my last job because of a hostile work environment with an intolerable boss. I actually called the interviewer out today under my liquid courage and said, "Why are you so surprised by that? Surely you've had applicants tell you stories of unprofessional work environments before." and I said it with such an edge that he was stumbling to save face because he knew I exposed his b-tch a-s judgmental self!!
