Going to the Plaza alone with the amount of money he's holding is fine way to get shot and robbed.

The PLAZA is on the wrong side of town. HE does NOT go there! He operates in the Ductown section exclusively, no place even close to the Plaza, ever, under any circumstances.

Let me ask you something... Why does Japan have high speed rail covering most of it while America can't even manage to re-pave Interstate 80?

What he really needs to bolster that new party is a proven track record on a state, county and municipal level. That takes decades to build. If he just wants to try sweeping the White House and Congress without that, it's a no go. The likely scenario is that his party would only split the Republican vote and get a Democrat elected by plurality.

I told you already, he's not even a resident of this state.

The entire nation of Japan is fewer square miles than Cali, and unlike Cali, the government there knows how to manage a budget and maintain a capital reserve for such projects. When the money isn't sufficient to do it all at once, it could be done incrementally, a few areas at a time.

How so? What does this guy staying away from the Plaza have to do with anything in California?

Bed, Bath and Beyond was never in there. Those people are not competing with any store there. They're deterring any legimate customers from shopping there at all.

What are you paying in property taxes right now and how would you like to see that tripled over a seven year time frame?

Yeah... it's all fun and games until this sort of waste and fraud bankrupts your town and you can't afford your housing anymore.

Got a troubled strip mall. More than half the stores are vacant. The lot is littered with dirty needles and broken liquor bottles. The food store is reported to be understocked and too small. The city has spent $200k, just to "study" ways to improve and revitalize it. There's nothing to study. Just look at it. Walk though it. Observe it. Ask what's going on there that isn't happening at the more successful strip malls out of town. Got it, yet? Just kick all the drunks, druggies, pushers, shoplifters, panhandlers, vandals and prostitutes out of the area. Problen solved.

About the same budget that Cali squanders, wastes and pilfers every year.

I'm pretty sure it does a much better job at both than just emptying all the reserviors into the ocean, as Cali had done.
