The Hell I'm not. If you learn how to walk and use your watch, you might find out your own pace. Mine is a little bit under twenty minutes to a mile.

Your workplace doesn't include managers who cut costs and feed their egos by firing people. Mine did. Anybody can do well when the weather is favorable. You don't know the ship until it's been through the storms.

One truth prevails at the casino. Firing people is managent's favorite thing to do. It feeds their egos and keeps their labor costs at a minimum. Can you successfully navigate that rocky rapid or longer than three decades?

That all depends on who you ask. Casinos have a nasty habit of getting rid of bad employees before they finish their first year. I've worked through nine department heads and a long parade of different supervisors. I've seen senior management and even ownershilp come and go during my time there. I guess none of them noticed anything wrong.

There are people who would have actually preferred the dumpster. Anyway, the next job only lasted a year before I joined the union and got the casino job.
