I mean Fairy Tail is available in full on Funimation, and Crunchyroll, at least. I can see Toonami airing it once there's no other way to watch it legally, since at that point they could be the exclusive place to play it. But it would be at least a decade old at that point, and Toonami hates airing old anime.

Which is odd because isekai has become the second-fastest growing popular genre in anime, beat only by male idol shows. Each season sees no less than 4 isekai titles.

I hope so. As much as people here may hate it, it has all the elements of a Toonami hit. DeMarco just has to get prescriptions for being allergic to boobies.

I know. They all but outright said they don't care where shows are on the block anymore. Why else would they put fuckin My Hero Academia at 3:30 AM when they could just as easily return it to where it used to be before it led the block?? Or put the dub premiere of Demon Slayer at 1:30 AM?

Not even Dragonball Anything can save it from being reruns I suppose. If this continues and the ratings become even more worse, Toonami's gonna need to really rethink the schedule. Their last darling show to anchor them up is no more, and now they need to find their next set of successful hitters.

Man. .... if Toonami was available on a legal streaming service like other movies and shows like HBO MAX, I would DITCH sling.tv. Toonami is the one thing making me hold onto antiquated entertainment. I mean they're under the same umbrella companies that you see put shows on HBO MAX anyway! Then again, it being a block is what makes Toonami special, so they're gonna have to find a clever way to preserve that.
