Yup. Hes been linked to the blues basically since the day he was drafted. Calgary has always suspected he would bolt to the blues the second he became a UFA. After losing Gaudreau they are basically not risking it anymore. Calgary going to tear it down rather than risk losing him for nothing.

Sureeeee sounds like Tkachuk is going to be traded to the Blues. Sounds like he wont sign a long term deal in Calgary.

Im not sure. The sports threads are megathreads that get pinned. Pooh said it best, they may need to be pinned in the new folder as well. Theres still stuff happening in the off-season though. NHL just had its draft, and free agency is tomorrow. So those are pretty big days for the sport. The politics threads are trickier. We have the general election tracking megathreads, but we also post single threads for bigger events or stories.

So sports and politics are going to operate in the same folder?

Hawks are going into full blown rebuild mode. I think Kane gets traded sooner than later.

What a parade! That was so fun! I recorded the entire thing on TV so that I can go back and rewatch it. What an amazing run by the Avs. Soooooo many drunk players and coaches.

Im going to the parade Thursday Talked to work and got the OK to take the rest of the week off after the parade. They know Im an addict and told me to just have a nice long celebratory weekend. A couple of my coworkers are also taking the day off to go. I am still so insanely happy Going to be able to ride this joy for a while. Ill keep on posting stuff in this thread as it comes out. So many great videos from the night of, and the day after. I cannot wait for the parade.
