  1. It's best to watch a show on your own without the negative bias of others. Shows that you may like, others will nit pick and scrutinize it to death because it's not to their personal liking and have to hang onto the words of Anime critics, who think they're Siskel & Ebert. Go into watching a show with an open mind. Then, form your own opinions without the bias of those, who spend time obsessing over ratings and counting ratings on their fingers and toes.
  2. Because bitching incessantly is their favorite past time, which is all the more reason why it's best to not watch a show, while others from this çommunity have to say, "I don't like this! I don't like that!" I'm a complainer too, but I don't sit behind a screen all day for the sake of bitching about every show. If more of us spent all day and night posting in every fan's thread about every show we hated, they would be annoyed to the point, that they would want to tell us to shut up.
  3. Even though Val Kilmer is still alive, it's sad that he has been battling Throat Cancer. He has not been highly publicized over the last decade or so the way Hollywood "stars" are today. Honestly, I didn't know that he had any acting gigs, since At First Sight. That was back in 1999. Then again, I don't frequent the movie theaters anymore. Almost everything is a remake of Classics, if not a Romantic "Comedy," Superhero Flick, or something political. That's not including the fact, that Horror movies lack real horror and there are too many sociopaths wanting to shoot and bomb people, before having a chance to watch the opening credits. Anyway, I digress. Growing up during the 1980's and '90s, I enjoyed watching Val Kilmer in Real Genius, Willow, The Doors, Batman Forever, The Saint, and At First Sight.
  4. While watching this morning's episode and in peace without the incessant bitching, it's apparent that the salt seriously burned Klaus' balls. He is seething over the fact, that he had to be rescued by such lowly peasants from "the sticks." This is especially when having to feast his eyes on how buff Asta is from all his physical training yet he cannot open a book to magically fight his own battles. When you're buff and have the stamina, who needs a magical book to open to fight battles? LOL!
  5. Truth be told, the Dragon Ball franchise is not the greatest franchise in the entire Anime Industry, that it requires 1-2 hours of programming. There have been plenty of other shows over the last 1-2 decades, that have been overlooked from being aired on the block. They also don't have hideous and cartoonishly generic-looking illustrations.
  6. Hopefully, this is only temporary. I like watching Black Clover and Stardust Crusaders back to back. If I had it my way, Black Clover, Naruto Shippuden, and Stardust Crusaders would be the first 3 shows on the block. Then, I would turn off my TV.
  7. But, but shipping and handling cost money.
  8. Full Metal Panic and Tokyo Ghoul:re.
  9. Yeah, I actually read about the cancelation about 2 weeks ago.
  10. Homemade Lasagna usually tastes the best. That's unless the person making it doesn't know how to cook it and ends up tasting awful.
  11. As of several minutes ago, I finished eating the last of the Raviolis.
  12. Looks like the same post double posted.
  13. I'll most likely eat the last of the leftovers, later. Italian and Mexican Food are 2 of my favorites.
  14. I'll most likely eat the last of the leftovers, later. Italian and Mexican Food are 2 of my favorites.
  15. It has been a long time, since I last had any Lasagna. Earlier, I ate leftover Raviolis for dinner.
  16. We can definitely expect to laugh harder.
  17. Given my hectic schedule offline, I'm only watching 3. There aren't enough hours in the day for me to binge watch online like I did years ago. So far, I only cherry pick which shows to watch on Adult Swim. This especially applies to what airs on the Toonami block. However, I'm not sitting around calculating ratings on my fingers and toes.
  18. I don't enjoy having to break my sleep at 5:30 am to go out and shovel now. This is especially when those driving snow plow trucks shove other people's snow from how many streets down into my the drive way, after spending 1 hour shoveling snow.
  19. In some ways, there is something about the English script for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, that I find funnier.
  20. The voice actor for Joseph in Japanese is just as melodramatic and hilarious as the voice actor in English. Although, watching the English Dub is a lot funnier, in my opinion.
  21. We can never be so sure, especially with the way trolls from ASMB's community love to spread lies and smear campaigns about certain posters for the sake of being malicious, and wanting to put someone in his/her place. In fact, there have been a few, who have spent the last 3 years incessantly lying to everyone about me personally by saying, that I am a man. This is all because they are jealous of someone, who I exchanged sexually suggestive and explicit banter with for laughs on Lithium. It's amazing, too. It's not like I was dating anyone there, but there is a troll who loves using me as target practice and thinks he can publicly shame us over jokes meant in good fun. That's besides him making sick, attention-seeking, hoax threads about himself and other posters he hates "dying." Anyway... When JoJo's Bizarre Adventure starts at Eastern Time (12 am), it is still at Central Time, which is 11 pm on my end. I expected those pranks to start on Sunday night rather than Sunday morning. I also didn't consider the fact, that the pranks would start at Eastern Time. I can see why Toonami did those April Fool's pranks but they were annoying. I only wanted to DVR certain shows, which threw off the entire TV schedule. As for FLCL, I was never a fan of the show.
  22. Really?! Wow! You've got a lot of catching up to do. The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise is a multi-generational series. Most of the characters are named after singers and bands from the last 1/2 century. Listening to the names of the characters always makes me laugh and wonder if any of them know, that there are cartoon characters named after them.
  23. By no means am I a smoker. Never was and never will. It may look "cool," but I don't enjoy smelling like a human ash tray or coughing up my lungs, while someone blows smoke in my face. In fact, I actually yanked a guy's cigarette out of his mouth and stomped on it because he refused to stop blowing smoke in my face after politely asking him to stop. I came really close to sucker punching that guy, too especially after asking, "What's the matter, babe? Don't like the smoke?"
  24. I hope everyone, who celebrates Easter, enjoyed the holiday!
  25. That reminds me, I wonder if JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has a character named after Janet Jackson. We already know that Avdol named his chickens after Michael Jackson, Prince, and Lionel Richie (I'm surprised there wasn't a chicken named after Vanity!). I haven't skipped ahead to the 4th season to see all the all characters. Maybe later, I will do some snooping for spoilers. The next character to be introduced in Stardust Crusaders is Alessi. Judging from his hairstyle, he reminds me of Busta Rhymes from '96.
