I guess you can add Chucky and his wife, Tiffany from the Child's Play franchise to the list. Like Gremlins, their hideousness is what makes them scary. It sucks that I didn't have enough birthday money years ago to buy those Bride Of Chucky dolls from Spencer's. Those dolls would've been perfect for scaring my roommates, their boyfriends, and friends out our dorm rooms and apartments.

On 11/9/18, Child's Play turned 30. Because I've been so busy, I forgot to post this last month. Oops. I swear, Hollywood filmmakers need to hire voice actors with creepy-sounding voices to do the narration for Horror trailers again. Their creepy-sounding voices are perfect for advertising Horror trailers.

Yesterday I did see an advertisement and filled out some questions. However, I will definitely visit these other sites to double check. I want my work to be done professionally even if it means that publishing will take longer. Who wants to buy a book with spelling, grammatical errors, and bad formatting? A few years ago, I bought a Horror anthology out of curiosity of the quality and the stories' format looked really amateurish. In fact, there was 1 author in particular, who had his story published in all lower cased letters. If he was in the middle of an IM chat, that would've been fine. Not capitalizing at the start of each sentence in a story looks very lazy and unprofessional. Errors like that only adds to people not wanting to take self-published authors seriously. Traditional publishers, authors, literary agents, and some book readers don't always have respect for self-published authors because the quality of their writing can be unprofessionally done. To make matters worse, some of those same authors have massive egos because they don't want anyone to be in control of the quality of their work.

Since last night, something has been weighing heavily on my mind. Before having the chance to watch Species, I got a phone call from a supposed literary agent. He wanted to know how far I was in my writing process. I explained to him that I have been revising and submitting my work for writer reviews and was trying to figure out how to find a literary agent. The man I spoke to on the phone said that he works for Page Publishing. Because I never heard of Page Publishing, I will have to conduct research on it to make sure it's not a scam. If it is legit, I can't help feeling excited yet apprehensive all at once. For the last dozen years or so, I have been wanting to have my stories published. At the same time, I have some family members, that are unsupportive of my work because it's mostly Horror/Psychological Thriller. Like I said in the past, I have friends who are published authors that say my stories are more Horror than Thriller. My mother and I are the only 2 out of our immediate family that are Horror fans. Meanwhile, my grandmother is the stereotypical Christian zealot, who has a problem with any and everything that doesn't fit her Christian views and lifestyle. If she were to read my Horror Short Story, "The Horrors Of Womanhood," she would probably go apeshit. LOL! This particular short story is written in 1st person narrative and it's about a misogynistic gynecologist, who loves torturing his patients all because he has deep seated mommy issues. Over the last 7 years, I have thought about how mostly women would react to this story. On my website's Horror/Thriller page, I published an excerpt of "The Horrors Of Womanhood." My male subscribers found some of the humor in the story, which is a positive. However, nobody has ever read the entire story, which could lead to female readers being outraged if worse ever came to worse. Even though there is some dark humor written in the narration and dialogue, my intent is to show how extremely vulnerable us women can be during a personal doctor's appointment, while possibly having a gynecologist who could be a misogynistic serial killer.

Since I was bored last night and saw nothing else I wanted to watch, I chose to watch all 3 Species films, including the "lowbrow" 3rd movie. The writing for the franchise could've been a lot better. After watching all 3, I noticed that there was a major emphasis on aliens raping and/attempting to rape humans and vice versa. As disgusting as some of the scenes were, I couldn't help rolling my eyes while laughing at how unrealistic and contrived certain scenes were. For example, if the aliens are only so many days and hours old, how do they know how to drive a damn car?

Apparently, it must be Species Night on EPIXH. It's airing all 3 movies. If the sequels are as terrible as people say they are, I will be changing the channel.😁

You'll love this. On Dish's TV guide, they refer to the 3rd movie as being "lowbrow" and only gave each sequel 1 star for both. They must be awfully bad. For Species III, it says "Experiments are conducted on Eve's alien spawn in this lowbrow sequel." LOL!😂

Species is that type of movie, that I can never find time to watch it. It's been out for more than 20 years. Every time I get ready to watch it, I either miss it, or have to go do something.

Just when I thought the original Prom Night would be airing on The Movie Channel right now, it turns out to be a 2008 remake.

I know, right? Honestly, I feel he played the role of Patrick Bateman a LITTLE too well. Nearly 20 years later, he still creeps me out.

While doing more writer submissions, I re-watched The Amityville Horror from 1979. It ended just a few minutes ago.

Oh, damn. A few minutes or so ago, I finished re-watching Student Bodies, again. I damn near pissed my pants from laughing so hard, especially after watching that guy chasing after Toby down the hallway with his blow-up doll. ROTF!😂

I love this scene, too. Another favorite is when that bitch loses her hair and she's crying about how it won't stop falling out.👿

Looks like there wasn't anything worth watching last night. It doesn't seem like there's anything I want to watch at this very second either. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is on, which is something I definitely don't care to see. Years ago, I watched the original and fell asleep. The same thing happened when trying to watch Cujo. Well, with Cujo, I snoozed during the first hour. Then, woke up and was enraged by how stupid it was. Every character in that movie was stupid and obnoxious, especially the mother and son. We're supposed to believe that a dog with rabies is so strong, that he can head butt a car and not break his skull from it? C'mon! The mother sucks at swinging a baseball bat, when trying to hit Cujo and the cop is so clumsy, that he drops his own gun when trying to shoot Cujo. That movie insults people's intelligence.

There are at least a handful of guys I know in real life and cyber space, who love Fairuza Balk's portrayal of Nancy. In some ways, the character's personality reminds me of someone I've been friends with for the last 16 years. Right now, her hair is hot pink. She is more of a Nerdy Goth though. LOL! Anyway, you're not the only guy I have met, who loves Nancy from The Craft.

Before falling asleep this morning, I watched April Fool's Day on Starz/Encore Suspense. The Craft was also back on the other morning.
